This has place is now known as Smoky’s Fine Cigars.
I went in to find some RYO tobacco, as I’m not much of a cigar person. Most tobacco shops will carry a variety of cigars, pipe tobacco, cigarettes, etc, however this place has a very small selection of anything other than cigars and cigar related items.
That would be fine if I were a cigar person, and I’m sure this place is a Mecca for cigar smokers — me? Not so much…
Today’s shopping experience was not pleasant. I asked the guy working their about the small selection of RYO tobacco he had and he made me feel like a second class citizen for even looking at the RYO tobacco instead of cigars. «Sorry, our Livonia store has a better selection — you can go there to look. We’re a cigar specialist.» Gee, sorry I didn’t want to buy a $ 100 cigar or whatever he ‘recommended’.
I’m not sure how the rent is paid there when they don’t offer a wider variety of smoking products, let alone looking down their noses to us filthy cigarette smokers. (rolling eyes)
