I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment and I had the absolute best massage of my life from Megan. By far the most professional and talented massage therapist in Michigan! I would highly recommend Megan and/​or the entire staff to anyone in the area who is looking for a relaxing experience!

This is such a great place! I made an appointment for several pain issues I’d been having; work related pain and damage from 18+ years of dancing. Heather was my therapist, and she was absolutely fantastic! After briefly explaining exactly where my pain was, she knew exactly what to do. She was attentive to all of my needs and remained that way throughout my entire session.
If you enjoy old houses that have been turned into cute businesses, then this is the place for you! The floors can be a bit creaky here, and you might notice some of that in your room, but I just focused on the calming meditation music that was playing and barely noticed it once my massage began.

UPDATE: 4 days later and I’m still feeling awesome! The first day after the massage, I was just a little bit sore but it lessened as the day continued. The next day, I felt like an entirely different person! I’ll definitely be making the deep tissue massages a regular occurrence from now on.

Traveling and sleeping in contorted positions over the holidays with a house full of people had taken its toll on my back! This place did an amazing job at bringing me back to life. The front desk receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, if you’re into the mega-​spa experience where the set up is more like a nail spa, this isn’t for you. However, if you’re looking for the spa experience where the masseuse actually listens to your needs and caters the services to fit your needs. I am sold and will definitely be back. Shelly gives an excellent deep tissue massage!

Very relaxing experience. The building had a soothing aura when I walked in. the room was somewhat large and had comforting music playing.
My masseuse was very friendly and did whatever I asked for to help with my knots along my body. She even had no problem massaging my glutes area. She paid no attention to the time and focused on easing my pain– typically they keep checking the time.
Overall great place to get a massage for the decent prices!

Before I begin the review, I think it’s best to explain what New Body Therapeutics is/isn’t. If you are an athlete or someone who suffers from an injury and/​or pain, this is the place to go. If you are simply looking for a high end, kiss your booty, 25 different scents of massage oil, here is your wine glass with orange infused water, then it’s not.
I am a nurse who suffers from chronic back and neck pain due to years of heavy lifting. I also suffered a sports injury a few years ago. I have tried massages from high end spas thinking that big bucks equal results which I have learned is not the case. I had been having a lot of pain and spasming so I made an appointment at New Body after seeing their awesome reviews. There is a reason this place has awesome reviews. I got an appointment the day after calling, very convenient. The front desk staff is also very personable.
I arrived, filled out a short history form, and was taken back to my appointment on time. You change in the treatment room, there is no locker room or shower or anything like that. The room I was in had some soothing music and was spacious. The massage table was comfortable and the temperature was good.
Ibolya was my masseuse. At first I was a bit taken aback by her personality. I believe she is Eastern European so she has a certain stoic quality to her. But she’s a nice lady and she did an outstanding job. I got a 60 minute deep tissue massage. I’m so used to the «deep tissue» massages at high end spas that when she dug her fingers into my trapezius, I almost yelled out, but in a good way. A deep tissue massage shouldn’t be relaxing.
She stretched out my neck, arms, legs, and back before massaging each part which I think was very helpful. She attacked my adhesions and never let up, though did ask me often if the pressure was okay. I also really liked that Ibolya was not afraid to get into areas that most others avoid, like the upper pectorals and the gluts. She was very careful about draping as well. I’m not embarrassed about that type of thing but if you are, no worries because she has got you covered (no pun intended).
Afterwards, I felt like a million bucks. I always have some level of pain no matter what but it was literally gone, at least for now. I will definitely be back!

Came across this place while searching for massage place in Northville after moving to the area. Saw a special for first time clients on the website so decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! Had a 60 minute deep tissue with Mabby, who was seriously fantastic. We had a short chat before the massage started to go over some issues and I explained how my back has been causing me some pain/​discomfort. She spent a generous amount of time on my back and really worked the areas that had been bothering me. You could really tell she knew what she was doing and as she worked on my pressure points I felt my tension melt away. Fabulous massage. Already booked my next appointment. Give this place a try!

This place is devine! Its veryyy cozy and clean and inviting. REALLY nice massage tables that move up and down. I received a 60 min swedish from Kit, it was amazing! She has a gift! I explained how I have been doing a lot of driving lately and she streched me and massaged areas that I explained were bothering me. I felt so much better when I left. The best part about my massage was on my face and along my spine, it was so relaxing! The only bad part was … it ended! At the end, I really wished I would have done 90 min, which is what I will do next time! They need to have a first time client into price though. alot of places do. like for $ 45, other than that, it was so wonderful! I will be back! :) Thanks Kit!

I really enjoyed my experience here. I saw the positive reviews for this place so of course I had to make an appointment. On top of the very wonderful massage I received, the new client pricing was very reasonable with a coupon on their website. Even without the coupon and discounted price, I will be returning for a massage. Amanda was my masseuse and she did a great job with the amount of pressure she used. I actually fell asleep during the massage cause it was so relaxing. The ambiance was very good too, the place was clean and well kept. I am excited to come back here for another massage! I received a gift card to this place and i picked a facial and a massage. Lisa is an absolute miracle worker. She was amazing! She took care of my massage first. Then, I had my facial afterward by Angela. Unfortunately that was nothing to write home about. As she was about ten minutes in she decided to tell me I was getting a facial that was double the price of the one I wanted! I panicked and told her I wanted the original one but I was so put off by the entire situation that I never once relaxed during this facial. I was actually quite upset. I might return for Lisa and her amazing hands but I didn’t appreciate the up-​selling and the pressure from the owner.

Love this place. I have been going to Angela since she worked out of her home. She is the Best in the business. Always professional service.

Angela and the rest of her team of therapist are by far the best you’ll find in the area! They offer a great range of services from facials, spray tanning, and of course all different types of massage. I treated my husband and myself to the Herbal Thai massage and it was amazing! The atmosphere at New Body Therapeutics is also great. It’s extremely relaxing and warm, not cold and sterile like the chain massage places.

Let me just say. I will be back. It was clean. Cozy. The therapists were very helpful and my neck hasn’t felt this good in a very long time.

I visited New Body Therapeutic for a 60 minute Swedish massage after reading the reviews on this site. After my first visit I can absolutely agree with all of the wonderful things people have said! I called at 4:30 pm and was able to get in that same evening. I was greeted warmly, my masseuse (Juliann) was incredibly professional and the room was clean and calming. I will definitely be going back!

Every time i go to New Body i always have a great massage. Every one there is so nice and professional. I workout at least five days a week and sometimes i just NEED a good rub down to get my muscles to relax. The rooms have a great vibe and everything is so CLEAN :) I just got back home about an hour ago from my first session with Keith. Oh man is he good. I told him what i needed work on and he did a great job listening to me and making me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be requesting him again !!

I made an appointment because I was suddenly having an issue with pain in my neck and shoulder. They were able to get me in the same day and I had an hour long massage with Shelly. She is fantastic! I have had many massages before and I can say that many have been relaxing but not necessarily therapeutic. Shelly really knew what she was doing and was able to really focus on my problem areas without doing anything to exacerbate the problem. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a massage here and asking for Shelly!

Updating to add a new experience, because I was looking for one before I went in. I met Rebekah today for an eyebrow wax, and it was perfect! See my original review to hear about the great massage I had, but I am still impressed by the service, the prices, and the place all around!
