I ordered 2 to-go orders of fried chicken. I got only 1 order in the bag, so I had to drive back to get another fried chicken.

I cracked up when I saw Chin C’s review. Yes the wife owner who mans the register does always look mad. I order from here at least once every few months, mostly because it’s the only place to get jjajjangmyun on this side of the valley, and it’s still hit and miss whether she’ll greet me with a smile. But if you’re friendly to her, she’s friendly back. Other than the jjajjangmyun black bean noodles(the large is enough that 2 will more than feed 3 hungry adults), I also like their fried rice, fried pork can sometimes be hit or miss(I’ve had it overfried once or twice) but is generally good… and it’s fried pork. I also recently discovered their orange chicken, which I was surprised to really like(I must still have Panda Express orange chicken trauma). Is it the most awesome and authentic Chinese food around? No. But for food court fare, it’s generally tasty enough with decent prices(for the portions) to warrant a repeat visit. Food can take a while since there’s one cook(husband?), 15−20m, but you can call ahead for pick-up or shop while you wait.

This has to be the most ghetto, chinese-korean restaurant ever. The owner put ketchup as salad dressing, place looks dirty, and food was horrible. Jjajangmyun is what I had, I can make better jjajangmyun at home. Wouldn’t even give this place another chance. Sorry but don’t stop here after groceries. Just keep walking…

Why is the owner look so angry? Food is… ummmm… OK, But I’ll never go there again. No «Hi», No «Thank you»… Did I expect too much?

i tried the spicy seafood soup. it was yummy and had just enough spice. the price is reasonable, considering the meal is big enough to share with another person. I also appreciated their service. the cashier employee was so helpful. the tables were all dirty and i had my daughter and my food ready, and she was quick to find a table and clean it for me so that i could eat since the guy who cleans tables was busy taking plates in. i cant wait to go back.

I’ve had better Jjampong(spicy seafood) noodle soup and better jja jang myun from instant packets. The soup on the jjampong is not thick and flavorful enough. The jja jang myun was a little too sweet. The portions are really big. I ordered the jjampong and couldn’t finish it. I would highly recommend splitting it because the noodle will soak up the soup if left too long. It won’t taste good anymore. They have a deal on half jjampong and half jja jang myun. I think its a great price for the portion. The service is kind of crappy. The woman at the counter is not very nice at all. The food takes a long time to come out, especially for a food court restaurant.

3.5−4 Stars for the Jjamppong(seafood soup) Huge bowl with PERFECT spicy broth, plenty of vegetables and homemade wheat noodles. This soup would go up to 5 stars with larger and meatier pieces of seafood. The clams were almost microscopic, the octopus a bit too chewy, and then there’s the crab: well a baby spiny piece of crab with little to no meat. One mussel and I didn’t see any fish. This bowl of soup is 8.99, a reasonable price; however, I would gladly pay more, for more seafood!

I’m a noodle-holic, and Zhi Shing Zaung is one of my favorite noodle-consuming enablers. This is a hidden gem you’d likely never know about unless someone told you to check it out… so I’m telling you, go check it out! It’s tucked in the back left corner of the Galleria Market’s food court, and it’s a great casual, yummy lunch option if you live or work in the area. The first dish I tried was the jjajangmyun, noodles in a black bean sauce. I chose the«large» size, which was an awesome decision for my taste buds, but my stomach was disapproving as it kept being overstuffed with more noodles. Definitely very large portions, so if you have a small appetite, share a large bowl. The spicy seafood soup also comes out in a very large bowl with generous portions. The broth was spicy and flavorful, the noodles cooked perfectly, and it contained a variety of seafood — mussels, clams, shrimp, squid, octopus and crab. Again, share if you have a small appetite. Me? I’ll just keep ignoring my stomach’s cries for me to stop stuffing myself and go on with devouring the whole thing anyway!

Try the seafood soup — Jjamppong(enough for 2 people to split). The broth is really flavorful. Also, the jjajangmyun — black bean noodles are really yummy. Sweet & Sour Pork/Shrimp — tangsooyook is yummy(also enough for 2 people to split) but you have to eat it super quick before it gets soggy. Maybe ask to see if you can get the sweet & sour sauce on the side and dip the fried pork/shrimp into that.

Came with my sister the other day. We split the jajangmyun and spicy seafood noodles. Both were very good. The spicy broth was delicious and the sauce on thejajangmyun was very good as well. Portions and price were pretty fair. The lady was also very nice. Will definitely come back.

This tiny restaurant is located at the left corner of the food court in the Galleria Marketplace. I tried the seafood spicy noodle soup. Boy, was it huge! I did not expect it to come out that size! It was way too much to eat in one sitting. The entrée came with some appetizers which I always enjoy when eating Korean food. Sadly to say, leftovers do not tast the same the next day. Maybe because the noodles and seafood were sitting in the broth overnight. I would highly recommend sharing this bowl. The menu is small but I do plan another visit to try something else. The cashier/owner? was really nice and friendly as most korean women are :)

My favorite restaurant in the galleria food court! :) The jjajangmyun is good. First time I ever tried it, I complained because they gave me only a little bit of sauce. The owner lady was nice enough to give me more, but explained to me that it’s because their sauce is really strong so only a little bit goes a long way. To be perfectly honest, I didn’t believe her, but she was right. Now, I take whatever she gives me. The jjam-bbong is also really good. Lots of seafood & perfect amount of spicy.(But, I like real spicy food, so this might be really spicy for some people) The tang-soo-yook. You must get it with the pork. This, I always ask to have the sauce on the side. They always give a LOT of sauce, so I don’t like it when my tangsooyook gets all soggy. Plus, since the portion’s really big, I bring the leftover & heat up the meat in my oven like the next day and use the extra sauce: D It’s still very yummy :)

Simply put, in my opinion this is the best Cha-Chang-Myun in the valley. Specifically, the«Gun» version. Reasonably priced as well. This place is in the Galleria Food Court, in the back left-hand corner(looking inwards). It used to be the«Green Garden» restaurant in Van Nuys, but I’m really glad they are much closer to me now!
