Simply Relax

Simply Relax looks like your average Thai massage joint but I’m happy to report it’s way above
average. The only thing that gave me some hope were the positive Unilocal reviews.
I was totally impressed with the quality deep tissue massage I received!
Upon my 2^nd visit I couldn’t recall the name of my previous masseuse so I went with another.
She also was great with similar deep tissue skills.
3^rd visit– Another new masseuse Also excellent.

It’s rare that I discover a massage place with a solid staff of deep tissue therapists.
I currently go to Simply Massage about once per week for 90 minute sessions!

My first full body massage ever and they made me feel very comfortable with their professionalism and cozy atmosphere. My wife and I enjoyed a side by side massage, and will be coming back soon for more! Very lovely experience and exactly what their name insists.

I work long hours on my feet and have not stretched or exercised in a while, so I developed these two nasty knots that would not go away on my upper and lower back, just call me lazy. I had gone to another massage place and although I liked the massage, I was still left with these knots, and they didn’t really focus on what I wanted them to focus on.
I’m so happy I came here, I let my masseuse know where my problem areas were and that I wanted a hard massage hopefully to rid of my annoying pain. She really focused on the knots and painfully killed both unruly knots. It hurt so bad, but I breathed and squirmed through it!
I don’t feel the knots anymore, I’m just bruised and sore, but the good kind of sore.
You pay ahead of time, and yes you add a tip ahead of time, but I would tip 20% either way, so I’m not bothered by it. To some this might be unjustified so be warned. $ 40 cash, $ 42 if using plastic, I used plastic and added $ 8 tip, walked out knot free for $ 50. Well worth it, I will be coming back!

Simply relaxed was extremely relaxing for both my husband and I. We got the special couples massage, I got a pregnancy since where expecting. Would have loved to get my husbands massage but I will come back after our baby is out. My massage was very relaxing she was removed some knots that I had on my upper back I think she was taking it a bit easy but again I am expecting, we did loose a few minutes they stepped out a couple times and they finished just a tad bit early. My husband is not good at expressing but he LOVED his massage. Overall it was a great massage for our first time at Simply Relaxed. Ooh one more thing I liked the white curtains in the pictures… There a dark brown now

I have never been so excited to get naked in front of a stranger in my whole life. But last week it finally happened.
Let me explain: my back and shoulders were KILLING ME! I needed a place to abuse my back and get my knots out. I was around the area and the reviews seemed good, so I gave it a try.
They are very accommodating with scheduling, I called to push my appt & they said no problem. Upon arriving they inform me they have a special: $ 50 for 90 minutes. Cheap! I pay up front, and follow my lovely masseuse through a door that leads to a bunch of small «rooms» separated by curtains only. I knew this coming in, so it wasn’t as weird as it would of been if I didn’t check Unilocal first. She leads me in a room and tells me to strip and lay face down on the table. It’s dark in there & it was a bit too cold so they were nice enough to turn the heat on.
My first massage was great, but I made the mistake of not mentioning where I wanted most of the pressure focused. My second massage was better, I let her know where my problems were and damn she LET ME HAVE IT!
They also stretch you in weird ways & when I asked what she was doing she said Thai yoga so… there’s a first for me.
Overall I’m now pain free and I plan to go back once a week. For what it is. not a fancy place but a cheap clean place that gets down to business, it’s just what I need.
The hot stones are AWESOME as well.

So relaxing!!! They really live up to their name. The pricing isn’t bad at all either Definitely coming back soon.

FANTASTIC massage by Yumi! She really listened to what I wanted and needed worked on. I left very relaxed. She made the experience. I came in a half hour before close and they still took me, which made up for the one flaw for me: the prices. Note that this massage parlor may expect a little bit of haggling? Not what I normally expect at a massage parlor. I think that’s why they ask you for the money upfront. That way you can really relax when you leave… so, now that you know, make sure you check their written prices.

There is a $ 2 charge for credit cards. That is the only negative. Great place with nice people who listen when you ask for pressure changes. Hot stone treatment is included and I just finished my 2 hr massage for $ 80 not including tip.

This place is great, they really work out the knots you’ve got. It’s not the Hollywood relax aromatherapy blasé stuff, but a great place for people like me who go to get the knots worked out of my neck and shoulders.

Easily the best massage I have ever had. Far better than any expensive salon I have been too. I will certainly return, and I will tell my friends.

Came in a week ago. I have terrible arthritic pain. Chana, I believe was her name, warms my masseuse, and she took my pain away.
A wonderful hour, it seemed like it was longer.
Worth every penny, and the tip!
I will be back often.

Came here based off of Unilocal and glad I did! First time ever getting a massage and Pon did an amazing job! I did not even know knots could exist in your arms, but I was wrong. I have been very stressed lately and now I feel great. Thank you! Quiet, dark, and very zen.

I had tina, 30 min medium deep tissue massage. I work in healthcare and back pains are no surprises to me. This was the THE BEST massage I have ever gotten.

Schedule an appointment (based on Unilocal reviews) and was not disappointed! Polite, clean and got right to business. My masseuse asked what strength I preferred (soft /​medium /​hard) and kicked my BUTT. She hopped on my back and was stretching places I didn’t even know could be stretched. Asked what areas I would like to have worked on (shoulders /​neck) and dug those knots out. She was great and I recommend it to anyone looking for a solid massage with some interactive features (deep stretches, hot stones, warm cloths). Also the «rooms» are just one big room partitioned off by curtains, so if you’re ticklish or giggly, the customer next to you will hear it all (and vice versa). As I discovered… by bringing my loud mother. But for the price ($ 40 for 60 minutes), you can’t beat it!

I am a regular customer. I’ve been to many massage places, but none is better than Simply Message. I have chronic leg pain, but I started coming here the pain has been minimal to none. My masseuse, Poin, has the experience and the knowledge to effectively deal with my legs. Poin constantly asks me for feedback showing how much she cares about the quality of her work. As a result my legs feel the best they have in years.
It’s not a fancy spa, just a place for a great massage.
I have to comment on Scott M’s review. I can’t guess what he heard, but from my experience the only «happy ending» you will get is from a clean, relaxing straight message.

I have been going to Simply Relax for over a year now and love this place! Nida I’d the only person I go to to for a massage. She even comes in on her day off for me which is why I keep coming back because of the great service I get.
You can not beat $ 50.00 for a 90 min massage!
Be sure to bring cash or else you will get charged 2.00 for using your debit/​credit card.

I had Joy and she gives such awesome massages. I can tell she knows what she is doing. She gets every pain spot and I could tell she enJOYs giving massages. :)
The background music is nice and the place is very relaxing.

I hate writing bad reviews especially when the other reviews are positive, but I have to be honest.
Pros:
1)easy to find parking
2)$ 50 for a 90 minute massage, which is a steal
Cons:
1) no rooms. Everything is separated by curtains. So if there is a creeper in the «room» next to you it is very easy for the person to see you naked as you’re getting your massage.
2) After my massage I was waiting outside my «room» for my husband to finish using the restroom. That’s when the lady that worked there grabbed a spray off the counter and went into our rooms. I peeked in to see how she cleaned the area and was severely disappointed and grossed out. She just straightened up the sheets we were just lying on and folded the sheet that was used to cover us and made the bed look like everything was brand new. I dont care what kind of spray you used on those sheets, a lot of nasty things that spread through unsanitary sheets. DISGUSTED!
3) because it can get worse… I guess they were short staffed because my husbands masseuse and mine were constantly leaving to help people that walked in and answer the phone every time it rang. This def sucks when you’re losing time you are paying for and every time she leaves and comes back, she forgot what she was working on.
I am really upset about the sanitation here and as a result will NOT be recommending this place or ever going back! Stay away!

One of the best 60 minute Thai/​Swedish combo massage I’ve had in the valley. Parking is available in the back. The place is clean and all the staff are very nice and friendly. Atmosphere felt relaxing: minimal distracting sounds, dark ambient lighting, and background music was really soothing. The overall experience was truly amazing. I found myself tipping more than I usually do because just loved the entire 60 minutes. And for $ 40, it was practically a steal.
Note: You do pay before the massage and they do charge ~$ 2 extra if you pay with card. But I definitely worth it nonetheless.

It was very difficult for me to rate this place.
On the one hand, they have great prices and were super understanding when I was late (really late) for my appointment due to jamzilla (405 N closure). The girl I had was super responsive to my requests, both for a very firm massage as well as my focus areas with extra tension.
The massage style as others have mentioned is part Swedish, part Thai. Having had Thai massages in Thailand, this was MUCH better to me. It is usually a bit too painful for me. However the interior decorations and setup are much more similar to a Thai massage parlor than an American spa.
It felt good mostly, I should have asked for more Swedish, less Thai. It was not my favorite massage ever. I didn’t feel all my tension ease, but my fiancé loved it. All that said I landed on 4 stars.
