Philip S Shore, MD

I have been going to Dr. Shore since 2003. He has a busy practice so there are times that you might have to wait. I had a medical scary about five years ago and had to have surgery. Dr. Shore and his staff did everything they could to make sure that all my test and pre-​surgery exams were done for the surgery on time. It was only 4 days to do it all. Dr. Shore is a very pleasant and caring doctor.

I think it’s time for an updated review because my experience has been just the opposite of those cited previously. Perhaps the office took note of the negative reviews and changed their procedures but I have always been seen promptly, advised of any adverse lab results and I think Dr. Shore is the best physician I’ve ever had. He’s knowledgeable, compassionate, wise and just an overall good guy. I trust him explicitly with my health and well-​being and neither he, nor his staff have ever given me reason to doubt my decision. As a Health practitioner myself, I am very picky about respecting my body and how I go about maintaining it and so is Dr Shore. You can do far worse with some other physicians in the area but you can’t do much better.

Front office and back office staff is pretty disconnected.
I got a copy of my lab results. I wanted to speak with the Dr. about the two out of range results. I was told that I had to make an appointment.
Everyone else I know gets a call from their Dr. when this happens and they come up with a follow up plan.
I don’t get it.

Let me first say I have been with this office since ⁰⁴⁄₂₀₀₅ and I have to say I’ve never had a bad experience when Dr. G was still with them. Now that Dr. G has moved on to be with Healthcare Partners, I am at a loss. I have medical problems and I have not seen Dr. Shore in more than a year. I have to say that getting an appointment is virtually impossible. I am very disappointed.
