My sister always breaks appliances!!! I like to get things fixed immediately or I’m off balance. I called these guys and described the problem. They told me the house call of $ 45 would be credited towards the part and repair. The guys came within 45 min. They let themselves into my home as I was out of the area. They looked at it and in 20 min replaced the part and charged me a very reasonable repair price. I like convenience, honesty, and promptness(in others). I recommend these guys as a regular go to for apartment managers or people who are away at work etc. I paid over phone and easy no problem. Love to Unilocal.

We’ve had them fix our Kenmore washer a couple times. They came promptly and on time. They were able to diagnose problem and fix it for a fair price.

I came home and my sub zero was broken! We needed a repair ASAP and since we had called this company previously to fix our dryer(and had a fantastic experience) I decided to call them for our fridge as well. They were so very friendly and worked efficiently to get it fixed quickly. They didn’t overcharge us for neither our dryer or fridge!!! Will definitely be calling them back for any future problems we might have with appliances.

This review will probably mean nothing as they advertise on craigslist and they do not use their name. You don’t know it’s Pace until they leave the receipt and business card.(After researching companies on Unilocal and recommending one to my wife she went on craigslist so it is as much my wife’s fault that we got ripped off) Then advertise their service call is less than others and it isn’t. It was $ 55 which is average. The serviceman arrived promptly and fixed the repairs like they should have been fixed. My issue is the amount he charged. When he was quoting the job, he made a big production of pulling a ‘parts manual’ from his vehicle and showed us the cover indicating it was government issued. So he pointed to a part that he said was what we needed and that electronic part was $ 202 and change. I believed him as I have had electronic parts replaced on our dishwasher before and they are expensive. So after showing us the cost of the part and then making a bid for both appliances that needed attention, I didn’t feel the $ 350 he was quoting for both was out of line as there was a $ 202 part in there. After completing the work, I picked up the box with the part that he had replaced and noticed it was only an igniter which cost between $ 16 and $ 20 all day long retail. His cost was probably $ 6 – 8. So that is my reason for a poor review. He overcharged us $ 180. Beware, he has a thick Russian accent and when he is quoting it is even thicker and you can barely understand what he is trying to tell you. He fixed both appliances correctly and quickly not asking us to borrow any of our equipment as I have had other repairmen do and for that he gets 2 stars. If you don’t mind overpaying, this company will fix it correctly and do it quickly.

A leaking refrigerator was the problem. Oddly, I thought I had called Sub Zero, which had good reviews on Unilocal, but these people came. Haven’t figured out how that happened, and didn’t realize I was dealing with Pace until it came time to pay. They came on a Sunday afternoon, which I appreciated. The trouble was water leaking out the front bottom corners for the past several days in the early morning, and a sheet of ice covered the freezer bottom. I’m not sure what the two guys did, because I didn’t understand their terminology, and they weren’t using words like«clogged drain» which is what I read on the Internet that this likely was.(The receipt provides no clue – can’t read the handwriting.) I saw a lot of ice build-up when they took off the freezer’s back wall. Anyway, the guys fixed whatever this was, and charged me $ 288 total. I hope I paid a fair price! Have no way of knowing. But, the leak is gone, and I appreciate that.
