Does okay work when coming to routine items such as laundry and dry cleaning, however it is rather expensive. Uniform work is a miss, as my chevrons on my dress blues were off centered, and once had my green dress pants tailored, left a strange black line on the crease about an inch in length from the bottom of the pants after hemming.

I’ve been using Hillcrest for over 3 years with never a problem. They do very nice alterations and the cleaning is fine. I decided to write this review because I was looking up the phone number and saw a few less than wonderful reviews. I think they are great.

I placed three items in a ripped dress dress, hole in a sweater, and stained, white pants. I paid a whole lot if money for 3 items. I got the pants back with the same stain. I don’t think they worked on it! Looks the same way. The sweater was sewn but ripped the same way very next day. I am a soft critic but I am very displeased by my service would never take any other item back but these two because I feel ripped off.

The place hangs a «For Lease» sign in its front window. For whatever reason I figured their prices would be reasonable for alterations so I went in and asked how much to shorten the inseam on my jeans. $ 10 to shorten the jeans and $ 18 to keep the original hem. You’re better off going elsewhere, like Luigi’s in Van Nuys, or even Nordstrom.
