They have a lot of stuff, industrial goods. Prices are terribly high. Service is slow. It’s a laid back post office experience. I’m sure it suits the ultra laid back aerospace industry in Chatsworth perfectly well.

This place is the best. If you’re looking for a hard to find part, tool, piece, or anything for your build, repair or project… Grainger is the place to go. I only needed a cheap drilling rod of a specific diameter, but the sales associate took the time to search the catalog online to find it. And he did. The store didn’t stock it but he ordered it and it was there in two days. Great work.

I had a great experience here. I live in the Westlake area so I called ahead in order to ensure that Grainger would have what I needed. I guess Grainger doesn’t really want you to call their individual retail outlets so you have to call their HQ and speak to a service person on the phone. Not sure who I talked to, but they were very helpful in giving me information such as store hours, and more importantly part availability. The person I spoke to took a solid 20 min. to help me find the part I was looking for. I am working on a very unique project requiring tire stem valves and considering I had very little knowledge of the topic, the over the phone services was incredibly helpful. The outlet I wanted to go to(northridge) didn’t have the parts I needed, so the person on the phone helped me to «will-Call» them to the store so I could look at them before buying. This is the important part. When I got to the store I was instantly able to speak to an employee(Darnell). He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of Graingers products even stating that the parts book had just been upgraded and things were not where they used to be but he still took the time with me to look through the book and we found that what I had ordered was exactly the best option. Then I had stated I would be using an air compressor for the project. I couldn’t quite explain what I needed so I asked him to wait while I grabbed a Picture out of my car to show him. Once I showed him he said there were parts like what I was looking for, but they would take time to be ordered. I had told him since I did’t want to drive back that I wanted to try and get something that was actually at the store. We went over several options and finally found something that would work and that was cheap. I walked out spending $ 12 on two very critical components for my project. Darnell was knowledgeable, patient, helpful and organized. I spent about 20 min with him and I left a VERYHAPPY customer because at OTHER hard wear stores it would have been a nightmare, 2 hour ordeal!
