These guys are the best in business and I truly mean it. I went there few weeks back for first time to get goat meat and lamb chops. Both the son and mom at extremely professional and friendly people. When I told this was my first time there that’s why so many questions — they answered all my questions plus gave me a free drink for trying their place… really…made me believe nice people do exist… still!
I had a party at my house for one of my client enlargement teams. My wife and I wanted to serve home cooked food. I wanted to buy all the meat from family meat market… again the experience and meat both were exceptional. We had a very successful party last night everyone enjoyed the food, thanks for our cooking and great quality meat from family meat market.
I will recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat!

Um hello super excited they have ice cream from saffron and rose! my favorite.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to order food because it was too early but I bought some spices and saffron ice cream. mmmmm.
The lady was super nice and friendly.

My first time here the man who took my order was polite. There was a younger man who was the butcher and he was super polite. He acknowledged this is my first visit to his shop and I was then blown away when I ask if he can cut my chicken for shwarma and he did without argument.
The next week I phoned in my order, walked in, paid for it and I was out in less than 3 minutes.
Large parking lot and they have a wheelchair ramp.
The shop is small and efficient.

I have been shopping here for goat meat since one year, and I am happy to say that we get «excellent» fresh & tender goat meat, and its 100% halal. The cost is very nominal — $ 5.99 for the goat meat with bone & $ more for the boneless.
I used to buy chicken too, its good, but goat meat is what I come here every week driving 20 miles one way. I tried the Chicken samosa and its good, but very oily.
This review is only for Goat Meat, and I would have given 5 starts if they could maintain a better hygiene.

I am so thrilled to have found a halal market in the valley! I usually have to go to Orange County for some really fresh meat. What I really like about this market is the choices in meat. The have goat, veal, lamb, beef, chicken. All of it is fresh and they will ask you how you would like your meat cut. The owner and her son are very friendly. Prices are very good with a pound of goat being $ 5.99. Keep in mind this is for halal ‘kosher’ meat!
They also have a good selection of spices and some vegetables. But the focus is more on the meat and dry goods.
Oh and if you want the best already made afghani food including samosas THIS is the place to come ! A hidden gem in the valley .
One last item I almost forgot to mention — they deliver! Has to be in the valley and if your order in total will be min of $ 70. Amazing for a small family run store :)

I absolutely ADORE this place. Omar and his mother Karima are the kindest people you’ll ever meet. They’re always nice and ready to do whatever the customer needs. You can NEVER go wrong with this spot. BEST meat, BEST spices and BEST customer service. Thank you!!!

Great Halal meat market. I searched the valley for a while before I found this one. I’ve been coming here for a while.
The great thing about Family Meat Market, is they have all the different cuts of beef, not just sirloin and ground chuck. Most Halal meat markets have chicken and lamb. And when you ask for beef you get Sirloin or ground beef and that’s it.
At Family Meat Market they can special order any cut you want, from Filet Mignon to Rib-​eye to Short Ribs to skirt steak and everything in between! Every other halal meat market I’ve tried from Long Beach up to the Valley just looks at me funny and then says «no» when I ask for Filet Mignon.
So that is why I order from here. They can get the cuts of meat I want from a Zabihah slaughter house!
I highly recommend them!
