Black Hair By Tranessa

I’ve been going to see Tranessa for years now! She always does an amazing job on either a press & curl or track installation. I would highly recommend her to my valley folks who don’t want to drive all the way to Egypt to get their hair done!

I have been going to Tranessa for about a year now and she is a very experienced hairdresser that knows whats best for my hair. I have recently gone natural and she has helped my hair in the best way possible. My hair is growing great and with her advice I know how to take care of it in between appointments. Her prices are reasonable and she is my permanent hairstylist now. She is also flexible with scheduling, and since I am a student, that is what I need most. I will happily continue to go to her while I am living and going to school in Northridge.

I have been coming to Tranessa for my weaves for 3years now. I would follow her wherever she goes. She is my (Go To) forever stylist. And I am extremely picky about my stylist. She is quick I am in and out with my hair SLAYED and the rest of my day to continue. She is also reasonably priced for the excellent service you receive. I will never change…

I’ve been seeing Tranessa for about 3 or 4 years now. She is highly experienced and definitely knows hair care. There have been times where I’ve requested services for my hair but Tranessa will take the time to give her professional opinion on why I should or should not move forward with a particular service. Even if that means she won’t make any money. That is what’s important to me bc it means that I can trust her to have my best interest. I’ve gone to her for sew-​ins mainly but most recently regular maintenance and hair care. My hair is really healthy after getting the sew-​ins and now that I’m wearing my natural hair people ask me if its a wig, LOL!

Never again. The worst experience ever! Literally ruined my weekend. As a person she’s amazing. She and I both know it was a poor cut and style.

I went to tranessa one time and my hair has not been the same! That’s not a good thing either. She uses excessive heat which left my hair completely heat damaged. My hair was healthy before going to her, I was able to wear it naturally curly and now my hair looks like I am growing out a relaxer!!! That’s the severity of the damage she caused. Her blow drying technique is not proper or conducive to maintain healthy hair. She is extremely heavy handed and applies way to much force when pressing hair which again causes damage. Not to mention her shop is filthy, she is terribly unprofessional, her conversation is inappropriate (do not take kids in there) hair left on the floor, I doubt she sanitizes her tools properly. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom (I suggest not drinking anything to refrain from using it) all her products are left open, I’m no expert but that can’t be good. She was not on time and after this experience I would absolutely NOT recommend anyone to her at all EVER. State board would definitely shut her down if they walked in there. ZERO STARS!!!

Tranessa is the best! Every time she does my hair I get great compliments! She knows what fits you and listens to you! She is also very knowledgeable in hair care. My hair has really grown since going to her for a year now! Finally someone in the valley who knows what they doing!
