Bernadino’s Heating & Air Conditioning

Called them when my air conditioner suddenly stopped in 90-​degree July! They had a lovely lady who answers your call and guides you through the process. They texted me to let me know they were coming. Allan came out the same day to check on my unit. He was friendly, efficient and EXPLAINED everything. He gave me options on repairs and schooled me on replacement costs of parts vs. the whole unit. He was able to fix the damage the same day. I had a cool house after an hourish of his time. Thanks, Allan, for being great and saving me this summer!

Being a contractor I have to say it is a relief to find a good small business who cares about doing things right and taking care of their customers.
Luis came out to my townhouse a couple of times over the years maintaining my 35 year old Carrier HVAC unit. No bad Johnson switches and gangly sprockets — he got the unit up and running with a little labor and some refrigerant.
I know that honesty and integrity is a way of «paying it forward» for a business…
For when my unit went out this year guess who I didn’t hesitate to call. Luis came out, went on my roof and came back with pictures on his phone! I loved that! It’s the same thing I do with my customers! He explained that fixing the unit would have been almost the same price as the cost of a new one… heck I was tired of this half ass AC in my home.
I was surprised that this was not as expensive as some of my neighbors here at my complex have paid to replace their HVAC units.
Jim hooked me up with their 12 month no interest deal, co-​ordinated the crane and in 48 hours I have a nice comfortable home again… just in time for this 95+ degree heat!
In today’s marketplace people like myself do not have the luxury of time — time to interview multiple vendors to do work in your home. Bernadino’s was referred to me years ago and I have referred them to my neighbors (used them 3 times myself). They have proved to me over the years that they take care of people… and in this case, people have taken care of them. It’s a good business plan, I’d refer Bernadino’s in a heartbeat!

I live in Granada Hills and Bernardinos repaired my 1964 AC twice
in the early 2000s at reasonable prices after two other companies
tried to cheat me. About 2007 they said the repairs would be very expensive
and they replaced the unit. They do good work and air fair, reasonable and honest
