A Touch of Beauty

I’ve been looking for a hairdresser since I moved to the Valley and I defiantly found a great one in Julia! I love the entire experience that A Touch of Beauty offers! Natasha is just as warm as can be too!

Great place! I go to this store to see Julia, she’s been doing my hair for years but then I stay to shop! They have the best selection of products. Their stuff is not cheap but good quality usually isn’t. This is a great beauty supply store.

I understand some store associates want to go home on time, but closing the store 10 minutes early should not happen. Store hours are listed for a reason and if it is a must that you close early, your hours should defiantly be changed.
Not to mention the two girls inside the store clearly saw me (made eye contact with me) and completely ignored me and continued to close the register. That is just rude, I would rather go to a place that appreciates my time and business.

Great products that fit all of my needs. The people are very helpful and give good advice on what products are best. I highly recommend this beauty supply/​salon!!!

Excellent beauty supply store! They have everything! Burt’s Bees, Marvis, Commodynes, Yonka, Kerastase, Bumble and Bumble and more. I stock up every time I come here. Love this store.

I’ve been going to A Touch of Beauty for my haircut needs for a few years now. I’ve never been regular, by any means. I’m more the «cut it when it gets to be lion-​mane-​like» kind of gal. But I’d always had a fairly pleasant experience there, especially with the hair stylist Julia. I called today to make an appointment and was informed that Julia has since left to stay closer to home. Disappointing, yes, but that’s alright. I made an appointment anyway with one of the other stylists that has cut my hair in the past… or so I thought.
When I arrived, I was informed that no, my appointment was not with the person I was told it was with, but rather with this new person who I have never seen before in my life. Okay… I explain to this person the simple cut I wanted, basically just a trim with some layers, but keep my hair long. I have crazy hair that freaks out when it’s cut too short. She starts to cut my hair and I quickly realize that she is brand new to this profession. She gets advice from the other stylist (who I had hoped my appointment was with, but she was busy with another customer) and was generally going about the job in a rather student-​like manner.
Anyway, long story short, despite my warnings that she shouldn’t cut too much, my hair is now much shorter than I wanted. It’s not uneven or poor-​looking perse, but it’s not what I wanted. Furthermore, when I went to pay for my haircut, the woman at the register mischarged my credit card TWICE! And while I waited for her to fix it, one of the other ladies who works there said to me (while staring at my admittedly slightly unruly eyebrows) that, by the way, they do facial waxings as well…
So, not only did they switch stylists on me and set me up with someone who was clearly inexperienced and didn’t listen well to my instructions, but they made my bank statement look a mess and insulted me.
They lost more than just a wonderful hair stylist when Julia left, they lost my business forever.
