I could not be more satisfied with the service I received at this place. When my transmission went out in 2014, I was very stressed, trying to decide it was worth it to replace the transmission in my 1999 Pathfinder, or buy something new (and have a car payment I can’t afford). Don was not only extremely knowledgeable, but he was also very patient in speaking with me and helping to weigh my options. He was also $ 700 cheaper than the transmission shop where my car was originally towed. Additionally, this place has a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty (also better than the other shop). Since the replacement, Don has really gone above and beyond to make sure I am 100% happy with the work, and I am. Everybody there is extremely friendly and professional as well. Also, they do more than just transmissions, so I will be definitely be using them again.

This company is an amazing customer centric American company. I have yet to find a company that stands behind their work and word like this company. The experience with Don and Bill has been the best ever in my 20+ years of a types of vehicles, I highly recommend them to take care of all your needs.

Transmission work is painful. I had it done on two other cars at other businesses and was not totally happy with the cost or the service, not to mention that the work turned out to be quite inadequate. So, this time, I went to several other transmission shops trying to size up the given business and found a gem with owner Don Ramer and Automotive Transmission Engineering Corp. Don really wants people to understand where the problems are with their transmissions. He will take whatever time one needs to understand the problems and to otherwise build trust. In general, the people working at this shop take pride in what they are doing and the attention shows. Prices are quite competitive and I doubt that there is transmission shop in the metro area that can offer better value, service, or professionalism. After about three months from the job, the car runs beautifully and I could not be more pleased.
