This place is very dirty they served me a plate with a bandaid on it from one of the cooks who had a cut on his finger

We are coming to NJ from Florida for holidays. Denny’s on Tilton is always pretty packed. I like the food very much, especially because it is not just fast food: they have salmon! for dinner, and pretty sophisticated deserts. Breakfast stuff is very good as well. My hot chocolate was delicious (and Im very picky about hot chocolates btw). So highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Usually, I am not a Denny’s fan. However, I have been to this location at least four times and have never been disappointed. The food and service are good. Love the fall when they make pecan pumpkin pancakes.

Tried to eat here at 11am on a weds, the place was crowded we got seated and then waited, waited & waited some more a waitress never approached our table for drinks tried to flag one down to no avail, finally after 20 mins w/​2 toddlers I got up and left on the way out I told the hostess that we had no service she shrugged her shoulders & did not seem to care! If I could give zero stars that would be a better rating!

I have been eating at this Denny’s for a while now, and possibly the only Denny’s at this specific location. There were good and bad moments I had. The food is good as usual for its price. The service is pretty much determined on who you get. Overall the service is quite average dining in, however when it comes to doing a pick up it sometimes can suck. I had a couple of bad experiences with pick up’s. There were times where they forgot an item or they seem to charge so much for what you didn’t order. My personal advice to all when doing a pick up, check your food thoroughly before paying. All in all do this for every restaurant you go to.

Denny’s has changed for the better. Healthier choice options, remodeled interiors, and more attentive staff. Although not upscale by any stretch, the «Waffle House» image no longer applies here.

Everything was fine until I found a bug in my entrée.
Manager apologized and came to comp me another entrée but I was already disgusted. It wasn’t even for an equivalent entrée.
Service was okay. The kitchen failed horribly on this visit. Don’t plan on going back to any Denny’s.

Our food arrived in a timely manner, everything was Sooooo fresh! The tropical smoothie was delicious! Our server was a sweetheart and the general manager checked on us twice! As a matter of fact, the whole staff was so friendly! I’ll definitely visit again when I’m ’round these parts!

I know I always push local local but this one very special Denny’s on Tilton Road has me regularly contributing to billionaire Jerry Richardson’s personal fortunes.
Two reasons — SERVICE and good breakfasts! And, now they have renovated the interior to make the dining area a truly nice setting to enjoy the start of the day meal.
Smiling faces from the wait staff are always a plus and they know how to interact with customers so that we feel cared for. In addition, you always can find a manager because they check in on you but with good service they just hear complements.
As for food … The breakfast skillet is a winner for me and the coffee is fresh and hot!
Time to finish my skillet before the sizzle is gone and then off to work!

I’ve only been to 3 different Denny’s in my life but this one is my favorite. I come here regularly and it’s still my favorite late night eatery. Of course the food is your basic Denny’s menu, but the service is always great. I give 4 stars because there are a few times ive been disappointed but that’s usually when I come around lunch time.

I’ve eaten here many, many, many, many, times. I actually considered going there tonight but decided against it because I was too tired. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this place! It’s always my go to for late night dining. The food comes out quick, the service is always great and the food always tastes good. Best part? It doesn’t put a hole in your bank account.

The food is pretty good, there’s a lot of affordable choices to select from. From breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner options, there’s tons of different variety of foods that will fill your belly. And did I mention it was affordable. Definitely need to open one in NYC soon plz.
P. S. If you don’t feel like dining, you can also order to go. That’s a major plus during those late nights

After finishing my adventure in Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, my friends and I, stop in this restaurant to have a good breakfast because we had a long ride home. The server and manager were very nice and did a great job, always on top of our table refilling when we need coffee or water; we were a big party of 7.
I had the T-​bone steak and Eggs: A tender 13 oz. seasoned T-​bone steak served with two eggs, hash browns or grits and choice of bread. I had my steak Medium and my eggs over easy. The steak was cook very good, juicy and it was very delicious, the eggs had a good taste and white toast. The portion was so big that i was full.

BAD SERVICE! Really it’s a Denny’s so the food is what you’d expect from one but that’s not why they deserve one star. While I was there the waiter having just taken our order slammed (accidentally) cream on the table and splashed it over me and my friend. Now when I say all over I mean shoulder to shoulder head and face. Personally, me and my friend thought it was quite funny but then they treated it like nothing happened. The manager didn’t even acknowledge the massive cream stains now on our shirts and coats. Truly I will never go back to this place.

Denny’s, everyone knows it for its «Slams» and often it gets a bad rap because the service can be extremely spotty and often terrible. I’ve never really experienced bad service at this particular Denny’s. I will say that I’ve had different cups of coffee in the same meal that went from great tasting to terrible, that seems to be the norm here.
Denny’s currently has a new build your own pancake promotion going on right now, but the options are extremely limited, which makes me slightly disappointed because I was ready to let my creativity explode, sadly that wasn’t the case, unhappy with the options for the pancake promotion I decided to get a Slam instead. I ordered the Lumberjack Slam, which comes with everything offered at breakfast, ever. Wife ordered the Cheesesteak Omelet, point of note here; the beef inside the omelet has nothing to do with cheesesteaks at all and is actually a steak that best resembles roast beef. Everything turned out great and tasted okay with the exception of the coffee.
We often make it to Denny’s around 11am, by the time we leaving there appears to be a good amount of people waiting for tables.

nothing special but not bad either

We stopped in for a quick bite and were very pleased with our service, as well as our breakfast. I had the blueberry wheat pancakes, with bananas on top. There was no problem switching out the potatoes for fresh Fruit. My friend had the French toast slam. We ate well, and enjoyed our meal. Would. Definitely come back next time I’m in the area. Adriana was a great server, kept refills coming!

It started at bacon and it was all down hill from there.
Stopped here with a couple of friends to refuel after a night out in Atlantic City since it was too far out of the way, but this might be one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. They had us at bacon menu, and lost us service, speed, and meh food. The service was horrendous, took a while to take our order, took a while for it to come out, and when it did come out it was in bits and pieces (Half of the table got their food while others were still waiting).
The verdict, don’t waste your time.

I had a group of 8 and our bill was around $ 130 (18% tip included). We wanted to separate the bill to 3 different debit cards but nope. It was too much to ask. The clerk attempted to charge the first card $ 40 and instead charged me the full $ 130…great that’s okay, now to fix the issue at hand? Too much to ask yet again. The clerk kept saying, «oh this can’t be right… what’s going on here.» But after awhile I received a receipt saying $ 40 was taken from my card.
Now, I have went to this Denny’s over a dozen times and I have had this issue before but it was fixed as I was there. Just had to wait 4 days to see the money back on my card but, not this time.
I called the next day was told the GM stepped out will call me back in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I called back and was told the GM was sick and left early…
I called the next day and was told «we didn’t forget you sir, we are looking into it. We will call you back today.» Nope.
I called the next day and was told Ms. Shannon the GM will be in tomorrow.
I told the clerk, I have been getting the run around for the last three days… can someone just help me.
She repeated herself saying «Ms. Shannon the GM will be in tomorrow at 8am, okay?»
Okay.

Who does the dirty in a Denny’s bathroom? Come on people, be classier than that. Gross.
The wait service here was actually pretty awesome, regardless of how long the food took to come out. Our surfer dude with the typical blonde beach hair was very friendly and even gave us extra food for while we were waiting.
Strawberry pancake hushpuppies with cream cheese frosting… has got to be the greatest breakfast food invention ever. The rest of the food was typical.
