I’m an old school kinda guy. I have long lamented the passing of my hometown barbershop. The place my dad went to get his hair cut by a «Floyd» the barber. I had resigned myself to getting my hair«groomed» at a salon. But today I flew in to town to visit my daughter at school. As I walked from the bus drop off towards my lodging I saw the welcoming barber pole across the square. Hallelujah I am saved. I was definitely scruffy. I shaved and months overdue for a trim I looked in on a thriving old time barbershop. I was immediately greater and was offered a slot a little later in the day which I gratefully took. Adam is a young barber working for the long time owner of this 114 year old barbershop. Dang just imagine that the James Younger gang got their hair cut here just across the square from the bank. Adam is an excellent barber comfortable with all types of fashions and cuts. He did a great job cleaning me up and offered to do any touch up free if I found I was dissatisfied. He is warm and friendly and put me at ease immediately. He clearly enjoys his work and I can imagine him keeping the shop open for the next 50 plus years. If you are in Northfield treat yourself to a cut at this turn of the last century barbershop. I think I will plan visits to see my daughter to coincide with visits to the barber.

This barber shop is so great! The main barber was very nice and talkative. The environment was so quaint and nostalgic. It looks the way barber shops looked back in the old days! My guy gave me the perfect buzz cut! He was also very thorough about it. I love Bridge Square Barber shop! I will keep going back in my time here! :-) P.S This barber shop is NOT closed. Its open and doing a super job!
