The Northbrook location has never been the friendliest but today was my worst experience ever. I was buying a gallon of paint which was $ 64 out the door. I asked a general question — if I really had to what would be the best way to thin paint for a paint sprayer. That’s when it down hill. Got a lecture on how I couldn’t/shouldn’t use a paint sprayer outside. The young man was uninformed and rude.
You know what. There’s a Sherwin Williams less than a block away. My next purchase will be from them.

great customer service here at this location. Jen helped me out with some paint that I needed to buy and even gave me some nice tips about storing paint and old paint that can still be used. even though I wasn’t a contractor, she didn’t blow me off at all and made me feel welcome. Thanks Jen!
