I go here every morning for just coffee and that has been OK. Twice I have gone here in the afternoon because I wanted an egg sandwich for lunch. Last time I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese on an English Muffin. They handed me a bag and a receipt. Receipt said Ham, egg and cheese on English Muffin. Told them it was wrong. «You wanted sausage»? That is what I ordered I told them. I got back to my office and the sandwich was on a croissant. Really!!! I called and they tell me if I bring it back they will fix it. I don’t have time while on lunch from work to go to a place twice and get my food. The big problem is they have an Asian guy taking orders at the drive thru that obviously struggles with the English language. Bad idea to have people taking orders that barely speak English. Pretty disappointing. Coffee only from now on for me at this place.

The product was just fine as I am a loyal D&D’er, but the customer service is where I take issue… The employee who ‘served’ me was curt and extremely rude! D&D is all about CHOICE and this angry, impatient employee had no patience to hear me out. It was extremely disappointing!!!

Herbert is an exceptional employee. Although the drive thru configuration is strange through no fault of their own, they are always fast even during morning rush hours and get my order right plus the employees are always friendly. especially Herbert. Nice guy!

So I keep trying to give this place a chance because it is just down the street from my work. But I’m over it. 98% of the time I go there they get my order wrong. I order a large iced coffee with cream and sugar and a turbo shot. They give me a small hot coffee. I tell them it’s wrong so they give me a small iced. I tell them again it’s wrong. They pour the small into a bigger cup add some coffee and hand it to me dripping wet. This isn’t the first time this has happened. I understand everyone is human and messes up. But after about 10 times I’ve had enough

This great new store is entered from Shermer, past the side of the liquor store. Lots of parking front and back, big drive thru and has 3MEETINGROOMS. And groups seem to be using them. I saw 10 people watching a video in one, and 3 people watching a presentation in another. Wi Fi is good. Independent business owners are liking this. Lots of food choices, including breakfast and lunch sandwiches … and the 99 cent giant iced coffee from 3 to 6 pm is a big draw. This is a regular stop for me.

Since the name of this place is Dunkin’ DONUTS, I expect them to have donuts available. Yet at 6:30pm tonight, they basically were out of everything except for a cheesecake donut and some munchkins. Shouldn’t a donut place have donuts available anytime they are open, not just at 6am? On the positive side, the place is new and clean.

Typically, there is nothing very noteworthy about a new Dunkin’ Donuts. However, in this case, this location is within short walking distance of my new office AND they are offering a free doughnut with any purchase. Any purchase! So feel free to abuse, er, utilize this promotion as long as it lasts. I don’t know how long that will be, but it’s been going strong since opening day, about three weeks ago. The other thing about this store is the capacious seating area, at least three or four times the norm. I’ve written elsewhere about the disappointment of the DD apple fritter: at some point, they switched from a mediocre but still legitimate fritter to an oversized yeast doughnut stuffed with bland apple pie filling. Booo!
