So glad to have visited here again while in town! Awesome teas, which are also for sale in cute mini mason jar-​like jars. interesting yummy snacks, the coconut bar i had was too sweet tho. unfortunately the yellow sofa has been reduced to a yellow chair (?) and i didn’t see any cards this time or t shirts for sale. The staff is so nice, fun to chat with and I love making magnetic poetry while sipping tea, so it’s still a winner, although i miss those few things!

1. Fill mouth with ice cubes
2. Suck on cow’s teat until mouth is brimming with milk
3. Gargle thoroughly
4. Spit contents, including ice cubes, into cup
5. Serve

Ok, I have dreaded writing anything negative, but then I thought this might actually help someone ordering the lentil soup: Tell them to stir it and scoop from the bottom!!! A soup to go was picked up for me; it was watery broth, no lentils, no flavor. I bet there was stuff in it, sitting at the bottom, waiting to be ladled to the surface. At least that is what I am hoping, or it was the worst soup of my life.

Nice spot — we didn’t catch any live music, but apparently it works here. Great coffee, exotic teas, wifi, an assortment of creative greeting cards (?), and recently the addition of wine and beer.
Outdoor seating is sparse but doable.

My husband and I happened to be in town for a show and had a couple of chai lattes beforehand. The atmosphere is nice, with comfortable places to sit. A musician happened to be performing while we were there; they have a nice setup for that sort of thing.
The chai was good, as was the service. The pastries did not look very appealing, but we were there late in the evening, so maybe that’s all they had left.

I really like the Yellow Sofa. It is a really nice place to relax and grab a drink. I have seen a few shows there and actually played a night myself. The staff are all super friendly. If you need a cup of joe this is the place to go!

We picked up some coffee for the road right before leaving Northampton and we really liked this place. The interior is cozy, the barista was a very friendly woman, and the coffee (Free Trade) was very good.

I’ve visited here twice for some nice coffee. The atmosphere is nice and the card selection is an unexpected bonus. There is about 15 tables, and some plug ins for the Lappy’s. It seems like a nice place to spend a few hours studying or watching live music.
