Team Link Northampton

Would not recommend for kids.

Our two sons (age 8 and 6) just started training at Team Link in Northampton a few weeks ago. This is their first introduction to Martial Arts. My husband and I as well as both boys are thrilled with Team Link. When I first called, one of the owners spent over 15 minutes with me on the phone answering all my questions and couldn’t have been more helpful. Team Link has a convenient location & class schedule, and a clean facility. More importantly, the head trainer and all the assistant trainers have been wonderful with the kids. They are all extremely kind and patient, without coddling them. They set high standards for performance, respect and discipline yet maintain a very fun and encouraging atmosphere. Our sons are already picking up complicated techniques because the instructors are so good at breaking them down. I am equally impressed with how well the more experienced kids in class have automatically adjusted their training techniques when practicing with our sons to help them learn. Team Link clearly fosters good sportsmanship and team spirit. The staff enjoy what they do and strike just the balance we had hoped for.

If you havnt had the great opportunity to learn BJJ/​MMA from a Team Link instructor, Link North Hampton is a great place to begin. John Manley is a great, energetic, and fun coach. All Link schools have ample opportunity to learn from some serious world class fighters such as Gabriel Gonzaga from the UFC. I highly recommend this sport and this school to anyone who wants to have fun, learn self control, gain confidence, and train to be a champion of this martial art!!!
