Brueggers has great bagels. The selection of bagels is excellent. I have a hard time getting past my standard ones though. The bagels are made fresh and you can taste the difference. Good coffee is also a plus here. On the coffee side that have all expected choices. Good order/counter service… not spectacular but no frills and efficient. Tables sometimes are not cleaned up quickly but it’s a nice comfortable interior and perfect for a nosh. Brueggers is very conveniently located if you are in downtown Northampton. In the mood for a bagel? You can’t go wrong here.

Bagels are great just a little cheap on the eggs. Not sure if they ever gotten an egg sandwich. They are bulky. Clean place coffee is good.

The bagels are really good! Always really fresh and nicely toasted. Plus there are the«Bagels from Last Night» that are really cheap and still considered fresh by other standards. I especially like the variety of cream cheeses. Environment is good for a bagel place/café. Nothing spectacular. Sometimes the staff come off as brusque but oh well it’s not a restaurant.

The bagels are always delicious and taste fresh to me. From talking to a worker, I gathered that they make all varieties fresh each day and get rid of the left overs at night so you’re never eating old bagels. I enjoy their hazelnut coffee too. I prefer the bagels at Brueggers over the bagels at Tandem. Tandem bagels all taste the same to me and poorly made. Contrary to the other reviews, I actually find the workers pleasant and not at all rude. Maybe they are a little quick with you but what is wrong about getting out of there fast to enjoy your bagel?! Go to Brueggers for your bagels!

I have been buying a variety of fresh bagels regularly here for the last year. My favourite variety has been the rosemary and olive oil. Def delish! Service has been efficient and friendly.

I’ve long been a fan of Brugger’s bagels. I went to one of the first shops up in Saratoga Springs NY when they opened. They bake the bagels fresh onsite. I like they combinations they have for sandwiches. That said: This locations has always been off. The help never feels very happy, or even interested in taking your order. They don’t manage the line well, or seem to care about much of anything. The last time I was there one of the staff was using his phone most of the time, and seemed put upon to have to stop, put on gloves and take my order.(All of which he did at the slowest speed possible.) The location is a bit run down, and never seems very clean.

I’ve been here three times. Each time I’ve asked for the bagel to be toasted — like really toasted with little crunchy brown toasty bits on the bagel and everything — and each time I get a soggy, chewy, completely un-toasted bagel. It should not be this challenging for a bagel shop to properly toast a bagel. I’ll take my bagel business to Tandem. They gots their toasting skills perfected.

The food is exactly like at all Bruegger’s. I happen to like it. However, the service was ridiculous. Someone cut in front of me in line and when I pointed it out they told me to wait, that they only had one register open. I said I knew that, and that I was there first. Then they stared at me like I was speaking another language, before deciding to indeed ring me up first. But there was no apology.

I normally really love Bruegger’s but this one is terrible. Most of the employees are at least pleasant except for this awful late-middle-aged woman with black hair. She refused to toast certain kinds of bagels; cinnamon sugar, french toast, etc. When I asked why she said it was Bruegger’s policy. That was a blatant lie. I have been to plenty of Bruegger’s locations and my standard order is a cinnamon sugar bagel toasted. I would say find another Bruegger’s or get something from the local bakeries around town.

Relative to 100 miles this is a pretty sad excuse for a bagel… somewhat chewy… mostly soggy… rather crappy cheese and mostly stale toppings… unfortunately there aren’t many places to GET a bagel in Northampton… It’s a notch above a freezer bagel… NY it is VERY distant from…

Eh, it’s alright. Bagels don’t taste fresh and the prices are a bit ridiculous for the quality of food you get. Won’t back here again. Lots of amazing places within walking distance of here.

I love Bruegger’s Bagels! Been there a lot lately this week in the morning while doing a quick bout of extra work in Northampton. Sesame Seed bagel toasted with butter is my go to order. I just wish they would turn the heat up on the toaster. The bagel is not golden on the edges, its just soft, but that’s ok. When I’m there at 6:30AM the staff is pretty friendly and they seem to know all the regular’s names. I noticed that today… Also, they don’t flinch when I order Diet Cola with my bagel… works better for me than coffee.

I went for lunch and ordered a turkey sandwich on a honey wheat bagel. The staff was friendly and attentive. The bagel was super fresh and tasty. The rest of the sandwich was very«meh» — I got one sad-looking slice of turkey, a half a slice of cheese and very sparse vegetables. When I added a fountain drink to my order, my entire lunch cost over $ 8!!! They need to have more affordable options — that sad little sandwich just wasn’t worth the money. I’ll probably stick to getting a bagel and coffee if i ever stop by again.

This place is ok. I had a sesame bagel with tuna salad and all the veggies. The veggies were fresh but the tuna a bit runny. The bagels are fresh and pretty good. We took a couple of toddlers and they were comfortable. They have tables with chairs and booths. The cashier had multiple facial piercings, including one through her lip, which I find disturbing. She was not unpleasant, but neither was she friendly. The place was not the cleanest but it is right on the street in a downtown. One of the guys who was supposedly working there was constantly walking in and out of the place and yakking with what seemed to be street itinerants who periodically came into and out of the bagel joint as well. A little creepy.

It’s nothing spectacular, but the food is good and the prices are reasonable. I’m partial to their bagel sandwiches, but I hear their salads are pretty good as well. Avoid the wraps(especially the ones with eggs) though.

It may be a bit of a chain but they have the best bagels in the valley — that I’ve yet found anyways. The pricing on a dozen isn’t too bad, either. The sesame or poppy ones with butter or cream cheese are to do die for.

I used to come here all the time when I was in high school. And I mean ALL the time. Of course, most of those times was when I was skipping class and needed a quick bite to eat before I head back to the much dreaded P.E. classes(or other similarly dreadful classes). I love the salsa cream cheese. It doesn’t really make much sense but it’s really good. The place doesn’t look all that clean since most customers leave crumbs everywhere and they don’t have that many staff people working. They have fresh O.J. and the hot chocolate is yummy. They also make sandwiches as well.

Love their different flavor bagels. Rosemerry and olive oil is my prefrence but there may be some I havnt tried but I cant remember. Seating is kinda limited tho so don’t expect to find a table if you go at peak times.
