Broadway Hotel

We have been going there for Years and have had nothing but rave reviews from all out of town guests we bring to savor the Flawless Fish Fries, Side Salads and oven baked potatoes. The hors d’oeuvres consisting of the most unforgettably mouth watering Homemade Warm German Potato Salad and their sweet ‘n sour coleslaw makes this meal a totally worthwhile experience. It tops my list of favorite Fish Fry locations!
Granted, the ambiance could use a little tweaking, but the friendly staff is superior in courtesy, speed and accuracy.

Broadway Hotel was a fun bar with live music. Char the bartender goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed and have a good time. Really wanted to drive the fish fry and the manhattan clam chowder. We had a good time with the 7 of us just ordering drinks. There will be regulars at the bar, so be prepared. You will also not hurt your wallet too much coming here.

Tis the season for a delicious fish dinner during Lent in Buffalo! The drinks were strong and the food was fantastic, not to mention the price, VERY reasonable! The service was great, never did we have to ask for anything. I would definitely recommend stopping in, the little dives always come out shining!

Yes it’s divey, but the drinks are strong, the food is delicious & your tab will be cheap!
My parents have been going here for years (decades?) & have brought me a few times when I’ve been in town visiting. If you do an NT pub crawl, this place will most likely be a stop.
Stopped in twice on my last visit, had an awesome sub the first time. Huge, filling, tasted good & came with fries. My 2^nd trip in was on a Friday for a fish fry. Delicious & a great value.
The place is half bar, half a dining room, unless it’s a weekend evening, then it’s all pretty much a bar & there’s a band set up in the back. Fun spot, good music, interesting conversations!

Went to the broadway for the first time recently and absolutely loved this backyard bar! The bartender (Connie) was so welcoming and helpful to all my husband and I’s questions about the area. We went in for a drink and ended up staying all night, drinking and munching on awesome food. The service was wonderful and so was the atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Love this place, its nothing fancy but it is a happy little back street bar. You can usually listen to good music and the food is great! Only thing i can honestly say is there is one bartender (tall blonde) that makes me avoid going in there, but now that I know when she works, I try to avoid patronizing the place. Someone should think about replacing that girl, she is rude and nasty to people. Other than that I love the Broadway!

Ok what to say what to say. The good with the bad (not to much bad). Luckily we got there on Friday around 5:15 pm. We were lucky enough to get a table (the one at the entry of the dining room) where all the traffic is. Ok we received awesome service at first we each got a dish of coal-​slaw and German potato salad. Both were ok and we received a basket of very fresh bread, was good. Ordered our fish and it took over an hour for it to be served. It was very tasty. The platter came with French fry’s (no salt), and more slaw. To liven up the fry’s I thought I would use the vinegar cruet that was on the table. The vinegar is watered down. All in all the meal was good and very filling. The pore people standing in the bar area waiting for a table for an hour not so lucky.

Perhaps what makes this bar so cozy is it’s ability to change size to accommodate the crowd. Slow night, everyone hangs in the bar. Bigger crowd, people mosey into the dining room. Huge crowds spill out onto the patio which has a nostalgic, family picnic feel.
Cheap beer, epic fish fry and one of those wired-​up jukeboxes that can play pretty much any song you can imagine.
