It looks like they have a lot of options but 1 section is dessert and salad, one is all seafood, another one is all american type food(pizza and wings) so really only 2 have actual Chinese foods. I have been to smaller Chinese restaurants with more options. Some of their foods were over cooked and they didn’t refill the rice the whole time I was there. I went there to get Chinese food not other foods I can get at other places. Their general tso chicken was very dry and no sauce and the sesame chicken tasted just like it no difference. If I was in the mood for Chinese I would drive farther to get better variety and better tasting food. For the price I should have gotten better. Had to take the bill up because no one would come back to the table.

We had a poor experience for our first,(& last), time there. Bottom line, the food was lousy and not worth the money. We wanted take out. We inspected the buffet out of curiosity and also because you can buy buffet items by the pound for takeout. The selection looked incomplete for a buffet. They informed us that not all food was charged at the same rate per lb, which made it confusing and felt cheap. The sushi was sad and they didn’t have anything I was looking for, so we went straight to the takeout menu. When we got it home our kids hated it, as did we. The flavors were weak and off. The beef and broccoli was atrocious. No one would touch it past the first bite. It went straight into the garbage. To top it all off they screwed up our order and forgot an Item we asked for. When we called them back on the phone to let them know, they explained that they must have missed it, but didn’t charge us for it. We couldn’t verify this because they failed to provide us with a receipt. When it comes to good customer service and good quality food, these people just don’t get it. I would NOT recommend this place.

So my girlfriend and I walked in and we were instantly sat and told we could go right up to the buffet. We were excited because finally a Chinese buffet opened in North Tonawanda! However that excitement quickly dissipated when the food had very sweet tastes and honestly tasted nothing like any general tso, honey chicken, sweet and sour chicken, etc. we’ve ever tried anywhere else before. I rarely would complain about Chinese food because it’s always hit or miss. But the food must’ve been sitting there all day. It was cold and unappetizing. Finally, we received the check and it was $ 30. I won’t go back because the price I paid for the amount of awful food was upsetting. Usually buffets are $ 7.99-$ 12.99. $ 15 each? Seriously? No thanks.

We came to ny to visit my aunt and we came to this place for dinner. When we looked at the review it said they closed at 10:30… When we got here they was closing early my dad spoke to the lady and OMGTHEFREAKINGSERVICEWASAMAZING! They made fresh food for us and Ray was our server and Ming is I’m assuming the manager… they were awesome! Food was great and service was amazing!

Food was good, some of the hot food was cold, ham salad on potato skin? Well maybe? Hot and sour soup was hot and tasty. Sushi was average, heavy on the rice in the rolls. Crab Rangoon was nice. Mac and cheese? Watery. General chu chicken was sweet and mild(need spice) overall place was clean and had a nice lunch. Chinese food? Well maybe.

It was difficult for us to find since we rarely travel west of Niagara Falls Blvd, but thankfully we got there after only one u-turn. The place doesn’t look like much from the front of the plaza(it’s attached to Budwey’s market) but once inside, it is most definitely a Chinese buffet. The décor is slightly outdated, some seats could use reupholstering soon, however it doesn’t mean a thing once you smell the aroma of what seems like 100 fragrant choices of glorious food items. Six buffet stations and an ice cream freezer await hungry guests with the typical rices, soups, chicken dishes, seafood and vegetables, along with American foods like ham, stuffed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, and onion rings. I decided to try a few new things. The honey chicken was my favorite«new» food and one that I will definitely go back for next time. You really have to watch your portions when you load your plate. There are so many foods to choose from that you have to get just a few bites of each so that you can ensure that you have enough room for it all! I was happy with how this restaurant presents its ice cream. Instead of having several large tubs open for guests to scoop out of, it is ready to go in single-serve sealed packages. Six flavors to choose from, just grab and go. No messy scoop, no mixed flavors from multiple scoopings. I like this concept! The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. We enjoyed ourselves. Our picky four-year-old even made a shiny plate(which means we definitely must come back!)

Ok, this is the typical American Chinese buffet you’d find in most urban and suburban, as well as touristy cities such as Glendale, Orlando or Falls Church. So, having said this, I am basing my rating and review as compared to similar American-Chinese buffet joints. As such, I thought this place was very nice – clean, bright, friendly wait staff, and as expected – American-Chinese food(not real Chinese, mind you!). For what you pay, I thought the selection was quite generous, tasty and palatable, and expected for a place like this. SO… if you are expecting a Peking Gourmet or a PF Chang’s, this is not the place for you(I thought the other reviews were a little too ridiculous in their expectations!). BUT… if you’re expecting the typical cheap, American-Chinese buffet place that serves the food that you;d expect(Gen Tso’s, chicken coconut, salmon slathered in mayo, mushroom buttons with stuffing, chicken skewers, beef with broccoli, etc. y’know, the usual!), then this is the place for you! For what it is, I thought it was a great value.(ps Come early and you know the food is fresh!).

Come here often, and I love it! A lot of variety. Crab legs are great, so is the shrimp and sushi. It’s nice that they have ice cream as well.

I came here yesterday for the first(and last) time with my boyfriend after a long day of canoeing. We were hungry. When we walked in I had high hopes. It was clean, well lit, and there were a lot of people there. I grabbed a plate and went to the first row of the buffet. All meat. Next row. All meat. Next row. Some sushi but none without meat. Next row… vegetable fried rice and vegetable lo mein. I resigned myself to a dinner of empty carbohydrates and made my way back to our table, with a quick stop at the«salad bar»(what a joke) for some cantaloupe. The rice was gross, the lo mein was decent, the cantaloupe was good and fresh. I went back up to look again, thinking, I must have missed the mixed vegetables and veggie spring rolls but nope, nada. I added a heaping spoonful of string beans in some sort of sauce and more lo mein to my plate. I sat back down only to immediately lose my appetite at the miniature octopus my boyfriend had brought back to the table to show me. What. The. Heck. I couldn’t eat another bite. I chugged my water and thought of this review. Go here if you’re not a vegetarian. My man enjoyed it. The service was friendly and helpful. The food was being refilled while we were there but the temperature of everything I ate was lukewarm to cold.

Nice décor, clean tables and attentive staff. Great variety, food could be rotated a bit more to ensure heat in dishes that needed to be kept hot. Our drinks were not filled with any type of frequency. So, four stars. Good food. Crab Rangoons were off the hook. Finished up with a beautifully cooked sugar donut. Oh and they should add more variety for the sushi. If you can afford to serve crab legs you can get some fish for sushi too, not just the crab sticks.

We visited this new place twice in the last few months. They certainly have plenty of variety, but almost everything kind of tastes the same. The quality of ingredients is just ok. We will probably not return. The crab legs were the best part, but they were all very thin.

Update; We’ve been here a few more times since they opened and my initial impression has slipped a little. Still not bad for a Chinese buffet but some of the food has been cold recently and as some have noted it seems a little blander lately too. It’s still close to home for a quick Chinese buffet fix but the other two Chinese buffets on Transit and McKinley have a better selection and decent quality for close to the same money. Original review: This Chinese buffet opened within the last month next to Budwey’s in NT. It’s not a huge place but they have a decent variety of typical Chinese Buffet fare. I was there with my wife after 8PM on a Friday and they were still filling and keeping it fresh which was a good thing. We’ll try it again on a weekday to see how it is. They have a decent soup and salad bar, chilled crab legs and sushi on another bar. Egg rolls, frog legs, shrimp, mussels, clams, sesame, pepper & Gen Tso chicken, beef & chicken w/broccoli, mac & cheese, white & veg fried rice, noodles, green beans and more. The seasoning of the food in general is good. They also had kimchi on the salad bar which I had never tried before. It tasted good to me although I’d never had it before so I can’t compare to anything. The staff was attentive and friendly. Our drinks were never empty. You can also order off the menu or call in for take out off the menu. For my wife and I the bill was under $ 30 with tax. The location is away from the traffic of the Boulevard but still easy to get to off the Twin Cities highway or Erie Ave(close to the Walmart). Plenty of parking. The location seems more tailored to the locals(which I am) and it’s nice to have this option for a quick bite out.
