Please consider hiring quality support staff. Just like the other review the receptionists are atrocious. Very rude on the phone, trying to make an appointment was a NIGHTMARE. We really wanted to see this specific Doctor so I pushed on anyway. They scheduled my first appointment wrong, they do not call me with my test results… When you check in they are very rude and will pretty much ignore you especially if you have questions. Once you’re seen by a doctor things are good. Their ultrasound techs are great, phlebotomist is great as well. Receptionists HORRIBLE. I would give this more stars based on doctors. I would give it 1 based on receptionists.

This might be an alright place to go if you can get passed the receptionists. As someone who works in customer service, I was appalled by the attitude I received in just trying to make an appointment. I first called trying to get an appointment in the Camillus location. I had previously been a patient at the Liverpool location but Camillus was closer to home so I called to see if I could be transferred. A male answered and told me someone would call me back. I received a voicemail from«Jen» saying if I wanted an appointment in Liverpool I would have to call the Liverpool office. I called back requesting, obviously, to speak with«Jen» who had just called me, so that i could explain that I didn’t want an appointment in Liverpool, but in Camillus. Well apparently there is no Jen and this was very frustrating for whoever answered the phone. I then proceeded to try to make my appointment. After explaining that i wanted to be transferred(now for the second time), I was told I needed to call Liverpool if I wanted an appointment there. Which I didn’t. I then explained again that I wanted an appointment at the Camillus office. Finally this all wraps up and the woman(who clearly did not have any interest in helping me) confirms that I now have an appointment at the Camillus office and I’ll be receiving paperwork. A week later, after receiving nothing, I get a text message confirming my appointment at the James street office. I call back again and am informed that they only have one doctor that goes to Camillus once a week so they needed to make my appointment at James street. «I guess they didn’t mention that to you.» No, clearly they did not as my entire point of this whole debacle was to get an appointment in Camillus. I understand that receptionists are very busy and have a lot going on. I really do. But really, I had one request and it was virtually impossible to fulfill.

I almost passed out as Dr. Roser inserted an intrauterine device. Other gynecologists make a point of scheduling around a woman’s period because it causes less cramping if the cervix is dilated. I guess he thought that would be inconvenient. I didn’ t even want Mirena in the first place; I wanted the copper one, ParaGuard. Dr. Roser dismissed what I felt because he figured that every woman in her right mind would choose Mirena because it decreases the menstrual flow. I tried to tell him that I was uncomfortable with putting hormones in my body, but I ended up letting him decide for me. He really has trouble keeping his personal opinions to himself. He couldn’t believe that I didn’t want to breastfeed. He also thought I was out of my mind for wanting a Cystic fibrosis test because he felt that a positive test would lead to an abortion. He’s also very judgmental about the fact that I needed medicine to get through the postpartum depression after my second baby. He’s also very, very rough. He goes from 0 to 100 during pelvic exams. If I wanted a drive by pap-smear, I’d go to Planned Parenthood. Can anyone recommend a kind OB/Gyn?
