That’s right, I give this place 5 stars, Here is why, we go there often, we are always greeted with friendly hello’s, by all including the servers and the owner. The food is very, very good, with pricing that won’t kill your pocket book. The best fish and chips around. Home made french fries. What could be better? Daily specials that are to knock your socks off. Great breakfast, with good size portions. Is this place fancy? NO, it is cozy and family friendly They are now open til 8pm serving Ice Cream. Some one mentioned waitress singing, well, I think it is wonderful, Just say’s how happy this person is and how much they enjoy their job. Give the gal an extra tip for entertaining you! If you like I bet you could join in. One of our favorite places.

Dissapointed big time. We’re locals and we’ve tried this place a couple times the service isn’t that great but we figured we’d give it another try. Well, after today we won’t be returning. We were the only table in there, they were about an hour from closing. This would be the 5th time we’ve had the same server she greeted us with unfamiliarity, took forever to get our drinks, and the food took 45 mins for eggs and pancakes!!! The bacon had a paper like texture and didnt taste like real bacon. To top it off the waitress was singing very loudly. I’m all for supporting local businesses but this one is below mediocre. Next time I’m gonna drive an extra 10 mins to go to Amanda’s pantry in westerly where the service is GOOD and quick. I hope goodies can be good again someday after some major polishing.

We walked in expecting a diner style breakfast. Fast greasy and delicious. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t as good as these other reviews. We too were 5 minutes away, so we called ahead for a party of 10 for Sunday breakfast. Walked in and sat down immediately at 10am, ordered and received our food about 45 minutes later. Which is kind of ridiculous for eggs and pancakes. We could have been happy if the food was good. Sadly, my eggs were overcooked to the point of rubbery texture and bad smell and the croissant was not flaky. I’ve had better croissants from Dunkin donuts. The hash browns tasted of oil yet were dry and not seasoned. I left longing for a McDonald’s breakfast. Sad too cause I’ve been here before and it was good. Maybe today was a bad day. The line was long and out the door when we left.

Service was AMAZING thanks Ros(Roz?). Food was perfect. A welcome experience after a horrible one at a restaurant at Foxwoods last night.

more like C±OK, I’ve had a few ok breakfasts here, and lunch a couple times. Its always better when the place is almost empty, otherwise breakfast can be an hour long thing, and I prefer it to be done and over with after about a half hour-45 minutes, but thats my preference, so I dont go if I’m on a tight schedule… with all that being said its a pretty standard breakfast place with friendly waitstaff

Plenty of seating, A very friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff. The daily specials are creative and the prices are great. Overall the restaurant is very clean and the tables are well stocked with syrup, jellies, s&p, hot sauce, sugar, fake sugars, and ketchup. I had cinnamon roll french toast which was excellent and bacon on the side which was a decent bacon. She had Texas french toast, bacon and home fries with sauté onions added on all of which were good. They do have real maple syrup available which is a nice plus.

We were looking for breakfast and this place was about 5 minutes away from the hotel so we decided to check it out. I’m always down for a restaurant that specializes in breakfast/brunch. The food is usually really good. It’s a family style restaurant with a relaxed, homely, country vibe. Cute spot! All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the croissant sandwich with eggs & bacon and home fries on the side. The home fries don’t come with onion but just ask to add it. The food was good, the service was good, the prices were good, and I would definitely return and recommend.

Stopped in here for a quick breakfast before work this morning. I was welcomed by my waitress immediately, the staff was super friendly and accommodating and my breakfast was perfect. I especially liked the hash browns, and the sausage patties were delicious. I was in a bit of a hurry, and my waitress was very accommodating when I asked to pay for my meal before it came out. The owner was cooking in the kitchen, and I just had to tell her how delicious the food was. Wonderful people, great breakfast! I will definitely stop in again.

This little restaurant was clean and good. Stopped here on our way to the beach. The croissant sandwiches are huge and the hash browns were great. Food was tasty and pretty standard breakfast fare. Waitress was friendly too.

Omg… don’t let the name fool you. My girlfriend and I have been here a few times and it didn’t take long to figure it out. Okay, here goes. The restaurant is not the cleanest. Country setting, somewhat friendly staff, yet a little strange. I never really felt comfortable eating there. The ketchup bottles were filthy on the last visit, and when I asked for some packets, the rude waitress slapped about seven of them on the counter in front of my plate, and then proceeded to ask me if that was enough. The eggs don’t taste like anything at all or they just don’t taste good. The hasbrowns are lousy. I only ate the bacon last time because I was starving. The coffee tastes like mud. Don’t go here. Drive to Westerly and get the specials at The Cooked Goose or something, but do yourself a favor, spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Stopped by here with friends for breakfast coming from Foxwoods on the way to Mohegan Sun. From the scarce amount of reviews alone I would’ve steered away, but my friend insisted that all of us to try it out. Wait time wasn’t long and considering we had a party of 8 or so, it was good. Food: I had the sausage biscuit gravy, scrambled eggs, and home-fries. It was really good! My friends ordered the Farmer’s Market something or rather and they liked it. Price: Everything on the menu was affordable. Nothing priced like an upscale joint. $ 6-$ 10 from what I recall. Service: Our waiter brought all the right dishes and drinks and if she wasn’t sure about who ordered what, she made sure to ask us before placing it in front of us. Atmosphere: It felt cozy. And old-town feeling. Almost like eating in a house or small diner.

Where do I begin. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. We didn’t even get a meal here. We walk in we are standing there waiting to be seated a server says«sit anywhere» so we do we were sitting for roughly ten minutes and no one comes check on us a rude waitress said I’ll be right with you from a far. Waited another 5 minutes for her to come over. And this is where it gets interesting. This waitress was extremely rude took our drink order didn’t write anything down so of course she forgot what everyone was having and messed that up. Someone changed there mind as to what they wanted for a drink and she rolled her eyes and said«well what do you want?» In a really snarky attitude. I Will never go back to this place I didn’t expect this from a «family» owned business. We paid for our drinks and left. I want support a business if the service is this bad. If I could I’d give this place no stars.

This could be a 5 star depending on your choice of casual and homey versus fancy! My homemade chicken noodle soup and ½ grilled cheese was just perfect before we continued our winery tour! The Western and Spinach omelettes were huge and judging from the clean plates very yummy as well! Hand cut fries are a weakness for me and these did not disappoint. Prices are reasonable and everything seemed homemade. YAKNOW for the meal we were seeking, service and food quality they deserve that 5th star! Don’t hesitate to stop here for a great home cooked meal!
