Budget Inn

I think the guy that gave this place 4 stars is very generous but he’s actually right about the place. My bf and I wanted to stay near foxwoods on a saturday night but hotels like hilltop and americinn were just ridiculously pricey. So we saw this hotel for $ 80 on a saturday night. I think $ 80 is a little expensive for this place but hey, it was cheaper than the others.
The rooms look awful and smell kind of funny. The blanket on the bed had a huge stain that looked kind of like Kool aid. I swear I saw a dead bug in the sheets but my bf thinks I’m a nut job and I was kind of drunk so that was probably just in my head. We slept in the bed nonetheless. The place seems to be pretty clean and the bed was surprisingly comfy. The staff was really friendly. They don’t have shuttles to and from foxwoods unfortunately so you’ll have to call yellow cab to bring you if you don’t want to drive. It’s a 20 min drive to foxwoods so the cab will run you around $ 30.
The place does look wicked creepy from the outside and it’s definitely not a Sheraton but if you’re looking for a place to crash that doesn’t cost you a ton of money, this is your place.

The name says it all Budget Inn. Your the budget it serves it’s purpose well. If your looking to go to Fox-​woods and pay around $ 50 per night then this is a great hotel.
I have to be honest. The hotel at first glance has a creepy vibe. Think Norman Bates motel (you’ll see what I talking about when you get there.) The front office is cluttered with what looks like junk. But the staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. the heat and A/​C work (however the room are a little cold) I arrived a little early to check out the room turn the heat on low and it was nice and cozy when we got back. I got a king size bed on
for $ 50 for 1 night. Some of the other reviews I have seen on this hotel were really mean. I thought i should just set the record straight.
For one it’s a hotel NOT your home period. For the money it was the same as staying in a Best western or Ramada Inn (about half the cost) It amazes me what some people expect in a hotel room when your shopping on a Budget. Now if your looking for a 5 star hotel then you prob won’t be reading this lol.
Again a great cheap hotel option for those looking to be close to fox-​woods
