Tom and Craig are great. They ski and ride and know what they are talking about. I can’t stand poser shops that hide behind the counter and tell you they are great skiers and riders and never go…
Support local business as they are our next door neighbors and friends. If it’s a couple bucks more suck it up and trust in community. The few dollars saved on-​line will inevitably epically fail one time and then your sitting there with nothing to fall back on except a bunch of emails and steam. Buy local and feel good about it!

The Ski Shop Plus is a great family-​owned business with fabulous personal service. I’ve been coming year almost since they opened and have been treated fairly ever since. They are straight shooters and provide good service in areas such as repair and tuning.
Although they probably tend not to carry a lot of upper-​end skis, not being in the middle of ski country, you can understand that selling super high-​end skis does not fit their demographic. Nonetheless, you will find a good variety of skis as well as top-​end accessories at good prices.
Shop here… they’ve been in business for over 35 years and there is a reason for this.

I personally don’t buy anything from the place. Not cause they’re bad or poor customer service. I just prefer to buy my equipment online.
I have had my snowboard sharpen and tuned here before with no problems at all. The price was very reasonable and service was fast. I always do their bus trips up north and honestly you can’t beat it. It’s usually around 80 bucks for a bus ride there and back plus your lift tickets. I mean c’mon you can’t beat that and they go to all the great mountains around here.
Besides that all the employees are super nice and helpful.

They did awesome job tune up my ski. The wax so fresh wax all smooth downhill on the mountain. The edge are sharper make easy to turn and stop. I’m really happy with their services also the prices are reasonable for local shop. I recommend tune up your ski or snowboard at Ski Shop Plus!

Great place. I worked with the beards (one was Tom, not sure of the other guy’s name). Incredible service — brought in an older pair of skis that they remounted bindings for me, and they told me they could help with my tight-​fitting boots by helping to remold the liners. They took care of everything at a very reasonable price… couldn’t be happier.

Awesome staff that really understand the sport. Not the kinda place that’s just gonna blurt out the same review you could read in the magazine. Also Bill the owner went out of his way to repair a boot that other shops just advised me to get rid of. So I’m walking away happy with a new set of boards and some nicely repaired boots.

End of season sale is going on.

What a great little local business. Family owned with helpful employees. I’ve been in and out of this store a couple of times to pick up a couple of small things over the past few years. I’ve contemplated buying skiing gear and have picked the brains of the owner and associates and even tried boots on in the past, but haven’t skied enough to take the plunge.
The other day I brought in a pair of used skis I picked up for a pittance at a yard sale last summer to see if they could give me any advice, and perhaps fit me to a corresponding pair of boots and maybe sell me a pair of poles. Much to my surprise, they said the skis would be perfect for someone of my size and skill and just needed a tuneup. They spent about 30 minutes helping me select the perfect pair of boots (which ended up being much cheaper than I expected). Instead of marking up all of the service charges since I brought in my own «used stuff», the owner gave me a small discount and even promised it back in 2 days [this is the middle of ski season] so I could break in the boots before my ski trip on Sunday! They even helped me pick up socks, poles, and a helmet then through another discount on top since they were having a sale coming up and wanted me to be completely satisfied.
Whether you are buying an entire ski package, looking to service your gear, or just want some info from a reputable shop, you can’t get go wrong here.

Fantastic and friendly service, great selection and prices aren’t too shabby either. I’ve been there a couple of times and I was happy with both trips. The last time I went, I was instantly greeted by a friendly woman who directed me straight to the items that I needed. She was helpful, but not pushy. Not only did I find everything that I needed, I was delighted to find them for quite a bit less than I might have paid elsewhere. They were having an anniversary sale and most items were twenty percent off. That is pretty rad if you are stocking up for the upcoming ski and boarding season. So, if you are in the N. Smithfield area, stop on by and browse their great selection of all things to help you hit the slopes.

Love shopping at local small businesses, especially ones with such knowledgable and friendly staff. I’ve bought skis and my BF a snowboard. Staff is helpful in distinguishing between brands and models. And there are no sales people that pressure you into a decision. If something isnt working for you after a purchase, they tell you to bring it back in and want to work to help you have the best eperience possible on the slopes.
Love the tent sale at the beginning of the season to get good deals on year old, but still new merchandise. Definitely good deals and merchandise to be found. If you join the mailing list, you can get coupons in email and snail mail.
