I feel that these folks were quite unfair to my elderly, widowed mother who is on a fixed income. They took forever to come and remove her bushes. And both times they came they arrived right after it rained and destroyed her yard with their machinery. They could have just come when it was dry but no, they managed to show up two times right after it rained and ate up her yard. They could have put down some plywood to roll over the grass but no that was just too much work. These folks just do not care if they damage your yard.
She was upset and said she was going to call them to complain, and somehow when she called they convinced her it was her fault for not paying to cover up their mess with dirt! I can see paying to fill in where the trees were, that is fine, but what about all the terrible, and totally preventable damage they caused to her yard by not coming when it was dry? They did not offer to fix that for free.
If you need trees or bushes removed, find someone else to do it. These folks were disappointing on every level.

I had requested a quote for a job and they said they would leave it in my mailbox. Long story short, they never showed. I ended up going with North Smithfield Tree Service. They were excellent.

I have been waiting 3 months for a simple backyard prune and clean. Half the trees they did not prune the other half beyond repair! The picture I posted is after 3 months of regrowth and as you can see not much is happening.

I Have Never Had A Problem With Stanley Tree Service In 20 Years We Have Been Using Them.

My husband and I were looking to have 2 trees removed from our property. We contacted Stanley Tree Service 3 times EACH to have them come out and give us a quote. Each time they told us they would be at the house the next day — they never showed up. I can’t rate their tree removal service because we used a different vendor (who we were thrilled with!) but if their removal service is anything like their customer service, BEWARE!

Homeowners beware! Watch out for Stanley’s Tree Service! They came to our house to remove a fallen tree. Their method of removal ended up different than what they originally stated (without discussing these changes with us) and they forced a large tree through a small entrance way between our front and back yard, damaging our vinyl siding on the corner of our house and along the side of our house. The tree produced some sort of seed, which left stains all along our driveway. When my husband and I contacted the owner «Stan» regarding the matter, he was denfensive, nasty, and corrupt. He admittedly came back onto our property while we were not home to try and cover up/​remove some of the evidence prior to our taking photos. He refused to work with us on fixing the damage clearly caused by his company. Unless you want more problems than a fallen tree, I would NOT suggest working with Stanley’s Tree Service!
