Pond’s Plumbing Heating & Air

I had my furnace break and needed some simple repairs. Jeff talked to me about the issue, and thankfully, knew exactly how to take care of the problem. They were good about working around my schedule. I was impressed that they kept the costs down.

Until today Pond’s got high reviews from me, my husband, and our grown sons and daughter, and our friends we referred them to. While listening to their adds as I was left holding on my call from California, I was sure they would send out a plumber and «stand behind» their work (as Ralph Ponds claims they always do), or be helpful, or consider it an «emergency» situation where they advertise they always have someone available. I got excuses at a time when we needed help. We have given them business in the past and have been very pleased. One of the managers, Cherry, kept repeating that they were fully booked both days we needed them. She kept repeating they were «slammed» and had no one who could install the «missing handle on water supply shutoff» that was left off during their installation and found by the home inspection. They had two workers, and a supervisor, the previous day who in a day’s notice could come install a new furnace, for which we paid over $ 3,000.00. Any company who fails the customer in time of need as Pond’s did, especially after they have been paid for previous work and are being paid for current work, get a bad review from me. This was our first experience at asking them for correction and help. It was not good. Be very careful of trusting they will «stand behind» their work.

I just moved in to my new home. I decided to have my furnace checked out, and something was wrong under my kitchen sink. They were on time, actually two vans showed up at the same time. One for heating, and the other for the plumbing. They only charged me one service call, that was awesome. They both did such a great job, I am very pleased. They didn’t try to up sale me at all, just honesty. Would use again in a heartbeat. The guys were very clean, and actually good looking that was a bonus. They were very professional.
