Not impressed. I showed up at 8:45ish I was told they closed at 10. Here is says 11. When I went in I was told the kitchen was closed and the bartender announced it was last call. I ordered my drink and the bartender acted like I had annoyed him. For someone working for tips, that ain’t the way to get them. 9 the TVs were turned off and they started putting up chairs. I left shortly after and won’t return.

Went ice skating with my family today, we were hungry so we decided to try the little restaurant located inside the ice rink. I got the pesto ravioli With chicken and my family shared a half pepperoni half cheese pizza. ITWASAWFUL. The chicken was tough, tasteless– pretty much disgusting. The ravioli was clearly from the frozen section of the grocery store, the pesto actually was pretty good. It was creamy, like a white sauce which was new to me. But it was tasteful. The pizza, oh geez. Where do I start. I wouldn’t even compare it to a frozen pizza you can buy at your local Tom Thumb because it was worse. The crust(which is my favorite part of the pizza) lacked favor, the sauce reminded me of the kind of sauce you buy in bulk that comes in a metal can. I honestly feel like if you’re gonna open a pizza/Italian place you shouldn’t buy everything pre made or at least add some seasoning? It’s clear this place is only still going because it’s connected to the hockey/ice skating rink and events bring people. I don’t recommend to anyone.

Good food but not convenient for pick-up. Location to pick up is hard to get in and out of. They are fine if you are at NyTex when the brahmas play but they said they no longer offer delivery, even though it says they deliver on their website.

Sampled their menu during last night’s Brahmas Hockey game. Food was excellent but the service was horrible!!! Two people behind the bar and two waitresses on the floor. They had no assigned areas and patrons were served hit or miss. Customers were even ordering food at the kitchen pick up window. This restaurant does a lot of take out to the rinks but the patrons who choose to dine in the resturant should not be short changed.

Hungry, Don’t bother calling this place for delivery! Placed a call to them at 6:45. Got a message that they would call us back. No option to leave a number or message. Assume they have caller ID. Tried calling again 6 times in next 30 minutes. Last call mailbox was full?. Did not know there was a message box as we did not get the option to leave a message. It is now 7:30 and no call back. If they think I can wait until midnight to eat… called Dominos and pizza is already in the oven. Should have it before 8:00.

Atmosphere is not the best, its freezing in there and remind me of a school cafeteria. Customer service is not the best. Prices are ok. Food is mediocre. Basically it’s in business because of its location. I came here several times when I moved to home towne(neighboring residential area) out of sheer desperation and convenience.

The service here is always wonderful and the burgers are unbelievable! We also enjoy the delicious fries and fried calamari, and the pizza has recently improved a lot! This is a classy yet casual place to eat while we watch our kids ice skate.

Tasted these wonderful pizzas at a bible study a few weeks ago. I asked where it was from, and found to my surprise, it was from a place in our neighborhood, called ZuRoma’s. Liked it so much my wife and I decided to go in person. .. And loved it. We ordered a half Supreme/half Jeff Russell’s All Star pizza. The Supreme was great, fresh toppings, thin crust, but the Jeff Russell, even better, the sour of the feta cheese combined with the sweet basil and tomatoes was wonderful. Our service was excellent, we sat in the bar and were promptly greeted by the bartender who recommended a beer and helped us with our pizza selection when we were ready to order dinner. We plan to go again very soon and recommend ZuRoma to our friends.

This place is really convenient for before or after a hockey game, or whatever you having going on, because it’s inside the sports complex. The food was way better than I expected. The pizza is thin crust and the salads are made with fresh romaine and green olives. Our service was pretty good too. I have a suggestion for management, however; if you are going to locate your restaurant inside a sports complex, expect that your customers have to set their hockey bags somewhere. If you don’t want their giant bags clogging up the normal seating area, then provide a good place for them to set their equipment while they eat. I was not impressed with the unfortunate attitude from management regarding where to store sports bags during dinner.

Surprisingly, this has been the best pizza in NRH. Definitely respectable for suburbs pizza. Ambiance is about what you’d expect for a hockey rink restaurant in Texas. Pepperoni chips are the perfect example of something that looks appealing when you’re ordering, and when it comes out it is exactly as disgusting as you thought it would be

When Zuromas opened in Grapevine years ago it was fantastic. They had thin pizza with the best crust and had tons of fresh herbs and ingredients with the right proportions. But sadly, this place has nothing to do with the Zuromas of yesteryear. The crust is simply tasteless and has no yeast or levening agent. The pizza has that pinky-gummy-raw layer of dough between the crust and the sauce. Not yummy. Gone are the herbs in any viable form. No fennel seeds, no oregano, no sage and no basil. Just a thick layer of the plastic-like mozerrella that you buy at ‘Sams Warehouse’ in 2 gallon bags. This place didnt go downhill, it fell off a cliff.

There stuff is a bit pricy when compared to some of the other local italian/pizza places. I dont care for their pastas, it is pretty bland. There pizza’s are pretty good and the peperoni chips are really good. Just be aware of the Nytex schedule(the building where it is located) If they have a bunch of hockey games or a roller derby then this place will be packed!

My wife and I went because we had a coupon, had seen ads for the place and wanted to check it out. It sounded great… sicilian home cooking. What we found was quite different. It’s located in a hockey rink in NRH(didn’t know we had one there). Tables were uncleaned and there were only 2 girls working the whole place. We found one clean table, I found a couple of menus for us to look at and we waited. It took literally 10 mins for them to even say hello even though one of the 2 tired and haggard girls was cleaning the table right next to ours. That said, once she took notice of us, she was marvelous and helpful. We had calamari, toasted ravioli, shrimp scampi, lasagna and tiramisu. The tiramisu is reported to be wonderful by my wife who is a tiramisu-ologist :-) The lasagna was average. From there, it’s all downhill. The scampi was salty and dry. Both the calamari and ravioli were almost certainly from frozen boxes. calamari was heavily breaded and lacked taste, the sauce they give you in little plastic cups is unimaginative(one pasta sauce and one ranch dressing) and the ravioli were dry little crusty things that seemed freezer burned. With ice water, the total bill came to about $ 45(to which I added a good tip because the poor tired waitress went the extra mile to try to make us feel welcome — once she noticed us). Good tiramisu and a waitress with a helpful attitude for $ 45 plus tip is not a good value. I would give it 2 stars except that high prices accompany poor food. So one star and we won’t be going back.

Will never go here again. When we went they overcharged me $ 10 on my credit card(didn’t see this until it went thru my bank several days later). I tried to contact them several times, but no one would get back to me. They may have kept my $ 10, but they lost a lot more than that because we would eat there if it wasn’t for the lack of care or follow thru when they make a mistake.

Food is always good. Service was horrendous. The server was more concerned about a table of 8 that came in 10 minutes after I was seated. Guess that will teach me for attempting to dine alone.

This could have been a 4 or 5 star review … I decide to take my mother in law out for her birthday and decided to do try something new with a groupon deal because I had some groupon credits. Decided upon this which had the time limit of use between 11am &4 pm. No problem, so we hop in her truck and go. They are not in the greatest location, and having friends that own restaurants and used groupon to bring in new customers I could see why. Luckily I already had known where it was because my parents live near by and we frequent the library over there. We come in, they are setting up for some sort of group. We walk from the rear end of the restaurant, most of the employees are in the back prepping for what would be a group of late pre-teen looking age kids in the building for a summer camp. One employee says grab a menu and sit anywhere they would be right with us. We go to sit down and another yells from the kitchen to please sit on the opposite end of the restaurant because they are using that part for the group coming in. I ask if we need to order at the counter or the table they say either way and go back to their tasks. We sit for about 5 mins or so, we are 3 of 5 customers in the place. So I take our orders and go to the counter to order. I can tell the guy taking my order is in a rush and possibly getting a little annoyed that I’ve had to flag him down again. I go sit down and he brings out our drinks. My daughters water was fine, but our sodas are horrid … the machine isn’t working. When they bring out the other tables salads I ask for him to replace my drink with water because it tastes weird and I get an annoyed look and he brings back my water. The pre-teens have come in and started eating, and the teachers take over that group. I leave to take my daughter to the restroom, when we come back out our salads have arrived and my mother in laws drink has been replaced with tea which she says is actually really good. The tone has finally changed with the wait staff, the guy who initially greeted us is now waiting on us and kind of saves the day. He brings my daughter meal out pretty quickly after our salads and asked what we had ordered. Her food is luke warm but honestly is how she likes it so for us it works. Our pizzas come out almost instantly after the big group has been settled, they are extremely hot and fresh which gives us time for our salads that had just came out. Everything tastes excellent … the other waiter comes and checks on us and to bring us the check & I can tell he’s less stressed now the summer camp kids have been taken care of. It was around 7 – 8 a for salad, drink and a decent size individual pizza with two toppings. The pizza lasted me that meal and dinner that night. As I said before I really want to give them a 4 or 5 review, but having worked in restaurant service before and knowing my friends standards, I knocked a star off for the initial part of our stay. We will give them another shot another time for togo or if we go in maybe later in the afternoon or dinner time when they wont have the big camp groups.

I would be surprised that ZuRoma didn’t have a review if it weren’t such an impossible to find location. The only reason I went here was because I loved the ZuRoma in Grapevine, which closed right around Christmas 2010. This ZuRoma is located in the ice rink and there are no signs on the street, so I am honestly surprised this location lasted and the Grapevine one didn’t. Clearly my going there twice a week wasn’t enough. Le sigh. Anyway, I really like their pizza. It’s a thin, somewhat crisp crust. Their toppings are good quality and the pizza has a flavor very similar to Campisi’s — I believe it is the same family who owns ZuRoma, not sure why they took a different name instead of capitalizing on Campisi’s which pretty much everyone in DFW knows. But I digress. In addition to the pizza, the Italian nachos are a very guilty pleasure. A heart attack on a plate. But a delicious one, loaded with gooey cheese, bacon, cream sauce, yum. This location is too far from me to visit often but I hope they survive. I still get depressed everytime I drive by the defunct Grapevine location. I always had good food and service there, as evidenced by my going there twice a week since I moved to the area. *sigh* But I wanted to give some props to the still existing location in hopes that they survive their abysmal geographic location.

Great food, great attitudes, comfortable atmosphere in the bar and dining room. Delivery is quick and always correct. Prices and daily specials are reasonable and worth the taste of the food.
