The waitress was very friendly and provided great service. The food was cheap and good. The only complaint I have is that it was extremely cold in there. It was so cold that it became really uncomfortable to sit there. We requested to move closer to the grill where it was slightly warmer. If they didn’t have the AC down so much, it would’ve been much better.

Nasty. Watched the cook, couldn’t tell if it was a man or a woman, touch their face around their nose and then go cook food. Nasty. got up and left. Who knows what diseases we would’ve been exposed to if we stayed. The one server they had on acted as if he could barely move. What a crap way to run a business.

This service at this place is too Hot N’ Cold for me. Depending on the section you sit in or whose working that night– you’ll either have an awesome relaxing meal or be treated like garbage. The two older women are just… awful. Ive never in my life wanted to not tip someone. It was that bad. My conscience wouldnt let me do it but i thought about it. The shorter guy that works in the early morning? Fantastic. Super sweet, awesome guy. Food was good. But if you question something on your plate with the older women server– Odin help you. Wish i could write a review for the good folks and another for the crappy ones. Ill settle in the middle for this one.

What can I say? It’s Waffle House. The staff is friendly enough and they make my eggs the way I want them. If you’re in the mood for it, then it’s good place to go.

Waitresses disinterested, Cook worried about getting a cigarette break. Food okay, but not up to par. Maybe the wrong night to come.

No frills bathroom here. A one-holer, with a very crappy air dryer, I ended up doing the old shirt wipe. Smelled surprisingly better than the smoke filled restaurant and was clean, so gets some stars. Not much they can do about the small size, but replacing that air dryer would be an improvement. Stalls: 1 Urinals: no Paper towels/Air dryer: air Sinks: 1 Baby Change: ha Motion Activated: nothing Mirrors: yes

We just moved to richland hills in july and we love waffle house! So we were excited that this one was right down the street. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious and cheap. We’ve been twice so far, great both times.

First great place to have breakfast. The waitress/server was great. Filled up our drinks and welcomed me to Texas. The environment was not at all bad. The food was really good, border line great. Biscuits and gravy were on hit! Gravy was thick, not runny. Biscuits were very fresh. The hashbrowns were a little buttery for my taste, but hey if that’s how Texas does it, than cool! I will be back for more… pictures will be coming!

Love this place. It’s cozy and after visiting so often the third shift knows my name and brings me a coffee(with unlimited refills) as soon as I walk in. The food is good, it’s cheap, and it’s available 24⁄7. As a smoker, I have to admit that the smoking section is a plus in my book, but I understand that not everybody sees it that way, so know that it does smell like smoke. This isn’t a 5 star restaurant, and it takes a few trips to really appreciate the diner environment, but it’s my standby, and I’m proud that I was a regular even before Unilocal made it official.

Cheep breakfast place, been in the neighborhood for years, I never really tried it. Being that it was a familiar place, I never thought about it, but when my husband saw it for the first time, he has been curious ever since. So this trip we decided to try it, and we ended up going back a few more times, all for breakfast. It turns out that its really not that bad, it’s standard breakfast food, with the price really decent. I have not had grits in a while so when I saw this as a side with scrabbled eggs, hash browns, bacon and sage. I jumped at it. They even put cheese in my eggs, which I didn’t expect. When we walked in, we didn’t feel welcomed, as it looked like a very cozy, tight crowd, it’s really very small with counter seating and just a few booths. The wait staff looked at us like we didn’t belong, even the regulars gave us the«eye» when we sat down. But by our third visit, we were starting to fit in, we were given a copy of the Waffle House coffee news put out by one of the regulars! I guess if we lived near a Waffle House, we’d go regularly for late night or early morning food, when you just gotta stuff your face and don’t have a lot of cash to blow. For now, it will be something we’d go back too, next trip to visit family back in Texas.

I have been a big waffle house fan since as early as I can remember(I get it from my father). I love all waffle houses but I thought I’d comment on this one specifically because the staff is so awesome. I have always had great service there. I love the sassy waitresses and the Indian manager guy. He is usually smiling but even when he’s grimacing about one of his staff he is always amusing. Eat the All-Star special it will stick to your ribs until mid-afternoon!
