I used to eat here all the time with my family when I was in HS30 years ago. It really says something about a restaurant that has stayed in business so long when all the surrounding ones have changed so often. Anyway I had been craving snow crab legs and my Mom told me to pick where I wanted to eat so RL it was. If I could rate our server Emilio I would give him 10 stars. He was beyond fantastic. My crab legs were delish and broccoli was good but a bit under steamed and no butter so someone looking for a light side might like it that way(I took it as leftovers and buttered it up at home). I can’t remember the fish my Mom got. Her fish was white and it disappeared quickly is all I remember. She got brussels sprouts as her side and they were very good some kind of sweet glaze and well seasoned. Of course the cheddar biscuits were good. We were a bit disappointed that they had no key lime pie but were not disappointed in the warm apple crostada. It was very good and I am not a huge sweets fan.

There were no lobsters or anything else in the tank when we walked in… that made us leery upon entry… but the service we received and the food were amazing… nobody had any complaints…

Why we walked out on Saturday. We came for an early dinner before Halloween, around 4:00. I think I’ll just make a list: 1. At the hostess stand as we were giving the hostess our name, a manager, who was obviously much more important than we were, interrupts to rudely inform her that at 5:05, she must do something. It was 4 o’clock, you had an hour to relay the message. It was his superiority that was annoying. No excuse me how are you tonight. His agenda was of the utmost importance. 2. Once we were seated, the menus felt grimy. That had nothing that we had previewed on-line or had seen in the television ad. Which is what brought us in. I probably hadn’t been to a Red Lobster in 10 years. It felt like bait and switch. 3. Then just after we were are seated the booth in front of us gestured to a management person for their waitress. They didn’t ask if they could help, they spoke rudely to the waitress who was just behind us. The waitress then grumbled about being so busy. 4. The smell of the restaurant was sour like stagnant water. I don’t know how else to describe it. It smelled as we walked in and was worse where we were setting. It just made me nauseated. We left irritated and nauseated. To sum it up, it’s old, stale and the employees seem irritated. We left before we ordered and headed down down the street to an old local joint.

It took a while to get seated because I made the mistake to come on a Saturday night, but I got a nice booth seat after like 30 mins. The waiters who worked with me were very polite and professional, they didn’t try to carry on small-talk, which pleased me very much. The food took a while to get here. The crab cake was yummy. Linguini flavorful, as with most places the broccoli was bland, but well steamed. My favorite part is always the biscuits, and this particular branch had fluffy, warm, fresh biscuits, yummy.

I love seafood and we go to this and other red lobster all the time. I wanted to write a review particularly for this location due to excellent service by Jesse James. He is nice, friendly & generous with biscuits. I don’t understand why some servers are so stingy with biscuits as if it’s coming out of their pockets. Red lobster offers it with dinner entrees so we shouldn’t have to beg for it. Few other servers don’t bring biscuits at all and even after we ask them to bring them they refuse to do so. It’s very annoying when you have to ask several times for what should be there as soon as they take your order or at least before dinner. But they’ll bring dinner out but still no biscuits at all. So I just wanted to write this review to show Jesse that we appreciate his service and the fact that he was so sweet & generous last time we were there. Not only did he remember us as regular customers but he also took good care of us. Thanks again.

Cheddar rolls are amazing! ! Salad is wonderful and fresh. The salad dressings are all fantastic. The appetizers are a meal in themselves. The entrées are all good, do not plan on any left overs. The deserts make the trip with while. The drinks are well mixed and tasty, slightly overpriced. The service is usually very good.

My husband likes Red Lobster. I am on the fence. We have eaten at many over the years. This particular one I could do without. We went tonight to celebrate something for my husband. The food was fine. Rice over done but that isn’t a big thing. The most horrible part about this place is just the smell. Oh the smell. Every time we are there it gets worse. It is just an old dirty smell. Not so noticeable when they are busy but we arrived a bit before the crowd and it was overwhelming. So much so that we almost left before we ordered. Sigh. Sorry Lob. We will drive to a nicer one next time. This store just needs to be demolished and moved further north. Not next to a meth head motel.

Will this place ever evolve with the rise of seafood places in DFW you’d think they would do something to spice up the marriage but nope they remain the I’m stuck in my ways and won’t change anything person who’s soon to be doomed they no longer can attract a younger crowd cause they won’t update anything so RIP red lobster you had a good run in the 90’s but failure to change will be your downfall

Love this place… on the expensive side but worth it sense we don’t live near the ocean… I’m trying the shrimp tacos this time instead of my usual ultimate feast. Always have a full drink and plenty of rolls while I wait for my order

Classic, good, always great flavors. But, the portions are to small for the price, Love everything else about it though!

Great food! Clean and very friendly. Came here with my grandmother and sisters and our kids and we all enjoyed it! We had Christopher R as our waiter and he was THENICEST waiter I have ever had. He was so helpful and informative. Made the dinner so much more enjoyable!

I told host I had 45 minutes to eat & he said no problem. He told my server I was on time limit. My server was excellent, food was hot, fast & delicious. My server was on top of things and checked on me plenty. I had the stuffed tilapia which was awesome, flaky & flavorful.

We love the food and service here. The manager Rudi is always so nice! This is our favorite location by far because they are so consistently great. Great for a date night or a large family outing. I love the fresh fish and fresh lobster right out of the tank! They also have great steaks.

I’m not sure about the food because I have nothing to compare it to. This was my first time to have lobster. It was good, but again. nothing to compare it to. The waitress was friendly & attentive! Prices r pretty steep, but worth it. The mudslides are what I recommend to everyone! The mudslides were AMAZING!!! I will go back, but for cocktails more than food. :)

I don’t know what happened but now the portions are smaller and everything seems over cooked and dry. and the prices are the same if not more. I love Red Lobster but rarely make the drive out here because of this.

new server a bit slow but well meaning. I tried the fried shrimp and it was very filling. Came with salad and a side. The red potato portion was small but cooked just right. The shrimp didn’t taste rubbery. Kids had chicken strips and Fettuccini and thought both were good. We got there 11:30 and seated right away. Wasn’t a line but busy when we left near 1pm. Decent but not outstanding overall visit.

Look, it is Red Lobster. If you are reading this hoping to get some wonderful insight, you probably don’t know much about America. You are going to get a pretty good meal, greasier than average, at standard dinner prices. My review was to thank Jesse and Charles, two of the best waiters I have ever seen, for making our group dinner absolutely great. They were phenomenal. They genuinely cared, they were engaging, and everybody left happy. They were almost too gracious… no need to apologize for things that weren’t your fault! Thanks again for making the evening awesome. If you are reading this review, ask to be seated in their section. You won’t regret it.

I have to write a up date for Red Lobster. I do not agree with the over all score of 3 stars. Red Lobster has very good seafood. The shrimp meals are very good. The biscuits are the best. The portion size are very large. We are always stuffed after eating here. You always get a great salad with your meal. Another good thing about Red Lobster is the specials eg. all you can eat shrimp, or lobster feast. And they put out a 4 dollar off coupon in the paper coupons monthly. We always have good service at this location. There is a wait most Friday and Saturdays but it seems to go fast. I have been to other seafood places and I feel Red Lobster stand up to them equal or better.

Decided to try RL again, after a few years of not going. They have completely redone the décor, then menu and the service. I don’t eat ANY seafood and hubby eats it all, and we took a friend who could go either way. Started with the Lobster, Artichoke and Seafood Dip, served with tortilla chips and pico — ours was missing the pico, but I liked it because ALL of the seafood was piled in the middle, so I could eat on the edge and be just fine. Hubby got a dozen raw oysters, which were average at best — he asked for Tabasco sauce twice and finally about 10 minutes later, they did. Cheddar Biscuits always good, which keeps this place in the black, I“m sure. My entrée was two pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans and a salad, for $ 15. Hubby got the Lobster Lovers Dream, which was about $ 28, and included a rock lobster tail, a Maine lobster tail and a shrimp linguini(website said lobster/shrimp but we didn’t see any lobster in it) and a salad. Friend ordered the same and subbed out the crab linguini for the lobster/shrimp and found it to be boring at best. She decided she liked Rock Lobster better, but both were pretty so-so in her book. Service was odd — our waitress was chatty and promised she’d return with the confirmation and any up-charge of the shrimp/lobster to crab linguini change, and she didn’t do that. Pacing of the meal was odd — Salads out first, then the appetizers, then probably 5 minutes later, the entrees arrived. Given that ‘more is better’ in American restaurants, every plate was ridiculously large and took up twice the space it needed. This made our 4-top table feel VERY crowded for a party of 3. No one had any alcoholic beverages and we had a coupon for a free appetizer, so I expected a slightly reasonable dinner out for 3. Total ended up being $ 115.00(with tip) and I thought WAYWAYWAY overpriced. On a side note, I am very impressed with the number of non-seafood items available now. Used to be one small steak and one chicken pasta entrée and they have essentially quadrupled the number of non-seafood choices. Way to go RL! Now, just make it more reasonable or increase the portion size to compete with the other chains and you might stay afloat!
