Midas – North Providence

Where do I begin??? Rick and the gents over at this location were top notch, first class service from the parking lot upon my arrival. I was met in the parking lot before I had even locked my vehicle by Rick who wanted to know what he and his team could assist me with. Being in a huge hurry this was a pleasant surprise!!!
Once we went over my needs, a oil change at the stated price he instantly ushered in one of his staff to bring my car into the service bay. I told him I was in a hurry and needed to be out in a half hour or less. If possible. They all agreed that it wouldn’t be a problem. He also promised that the price would be as advertised — no last minute add ins, which there weren’t any.
He also took the time while the car was being serviced to let me know I needed new tires which I know I do. He put together a great package price including many rebates and discount coupons. Being a gay man and from out of town I assumed they would try and take advantage of this situation somehow but much to my very happy surprise they were all complete gentlemen and the price was as stated.
So in closing Rick and his team were beyond amazing, polite, professionals and got me out of there in under 11 minutes. You can’t beat that anywhere. So huge thanks Rick and Co. I will def be back again.

Do not waste your time or money. I hate to leave a poor review, but I feel that other potential customers should be warned.
We brought our car here for a simple oil change after receiving a coupon for a complete oil change for $ 21.99. Since the mileage on the car was over a certain limit, we needed synthetic oil. The fine print on the coupon actually specified the price was not to exceed $ 35 even if synthetic oil was used. We got an estimate of $ 70 from this Midas for the oil change alone, along with some other suggested unnecessary work we could have done to the car. We ended up taking the car to our usual place, which charged us all of $ 28.00 for the same thing. No hassle and no song and dance.
Why bait potential customers with a coupon and then not honor it once they are there? A better business strategy would be to provide excellent customer service and honor the coupons they provide, creating a good relationship for return customers and good word of mouth referrals. This whole bait and switch tactic is dishonest.

Great service… They did everything to perfection and my car ran like new after they finished working on it. I recommend these guys for any type of work you need done on your car great service good price.
