Mazey’s is back open and is a small place on Charles St near Mineral Spring. Nothing fancy but good food. Pancakes are massive and the breakfast special reasonably priced. Coffee tastes better than alot of places I’ve been too. It’s my go to place when in doubt and wanting a decent breakfast!

OK. There are/were two Mazey’s owned by the same family. The one listed here on Charles Street is temporarily closed as of this review, 8÷19÷12. The one that is open is located at 2017 Smith Street, North Providence in the Centerdale Circle heading back towards Providence. Now for the review… The décor is simple, but clean. The inside is much bigger than it looks from the outside. The staff were super friendly and courteous. When going to a new breakfast place for the first time, I base my opinion by ordering a standard… Hash and Eggs. Mazey’s did a great job! The eggs were ordered over-medium. They came cooked perfectly and were nice and clean, whites cooked through with a soft yolk. The hash and homefries were tasty and had an excellent crust. The rye toast was real rye with seeds and actually came toasted… not like many busy breakfast places that serve you bread, but call it toast. All of this came with coffee for a total of $ 6.47.

This is the best breakfast place I have found around North Providence. Their pancakes are huge and fluffy. Real blueberries in the pancakes no cheap compote crap here. The food is prepared to order, and service is friendly and quick with a coffee refill. My husband and I like this place so much we have become regulars.
