Best pizza in Northport hands down. I go every Friday and order my large or extra-​large with extra cheese well done or I get to calzones and for me and my husband and we just absolutely love the food. I from north New Jersey and I love hearing the owner Chef when he’s making pizza and he’s talking cuz he has that Northern accent and remind me of home and the staff is extremely friendly and they all joke around and have a good time but they make really good food and they really need to expand because sometimes the line is out the door and they have a little tiny seating area. I can’t wait till our Northern friends go home then they’ll be more pizza for me to have you won’t regret it enjoy

This was a terrible experience. Our server was pleasant enough, but she spent a good deal of time apologizing to us and other patrons for problems with food and service. Our sandwiches were mediocre at best, and when I told the server that my chicken parm sandwich was dry, she offered to bring me some marinara. A very small bowl was brought, for which I was charged a dollar. The French fries we ordered were brought after we were finished eating. These were removed from the bill (not very good either) and server insisted on packing them with our other uneaten food. It took so long to get the bill, I had my husband leave to begin our grocery shopping since the meal had taken an inordinately LOOONG time and then the bill seemed to be even slower. I asked to have the dollar removed from my bill, at which point I was informed that I needed to leave the fries as we hadn’t paid for them! Husband had already taken food (which ultimately ended up in the trash) but I took issue with all of this and told them they were insane. I ended up paying the lousy buck just to get out of there. OMG what a nightmare. Stay away!

We stopped by at 3:30 which is probably an off time for a late lunch/​early diner and were the only ones there. We had a polite waiter who took our order and then proceeded to cook it himself. I had a salad which was spectacular and a mediocre Stromboli. Hallie order veal but was brought a chicken dish which she kept after smelling the lemon sauce, it turned out excellent. Not a five star for me but it was a interesting stop that I don’t regret. I’d suggest that if you are in the area give them a try.

I really enjoy the atmosphere along with the great food. Pizza always great, «graves end» off the hook good. Eggplant parm with meat sauce, witch you have to request, really good. Chris, Sal and Steve are awesome, but Taylor is the best!,

The pizzas are New York style huge. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the wait staff made sure that everyone felt comfortable. Even the cook wanted to make sure that we ordered exactly what we wanted, and apologized beforehand for the wait – totally unnecessarily, as it turned out – because we got our food really fast, freshly prepared and hot, right out of the oven!

Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in town! Food is always excellent! Staff is wonderful! Best spaghetti & meatballs I’ve ever had. The lobster ravioli is to die for and the Alfredo is delicious as well! We love their house salad dressing! Great family owned spot!

So… contrary to the negative reviews, who by the way probably think Papa Johns is good pizza, this place is great. Attentive staff, immaculately clean restaurant, delicious pie, authentic Italian.
Love the family atmosphere, open kitchen, and eclectic menu.

Won’t be going back to Zio’s. First time here my beer came with a bug floating on top, (how do you not see a bug in a beer before serving it!). I thought I would give them another try, but disappointed again. They took my order, there was three items I ordered, and they only made one, gave that one to me, and I asked where the rest of my order was, said it was in the oven, I waited again before finally going to the counter and it was sitting there, no one took the initiative to bring it to me. Took my food to the car and decided to check the order, and the salad was missing. Went back inside and had to wait again while they prepared it. No one was out front, but heard a lot of discussion going on in the back. This place needs to be more customer friendly. And pay attention to your customers too.

Good food, fast service, very tolerant of my noisy rambunctious grandchildren. I had mussels with white sauce, very tasty, as good as the Bijou Café. The sautéed spinach was excellent. The portions are generous, the service is good and the bathrooms are clean. I’ll be back.

Simply the best! The owner is fantastic and makes you feel welcome, as if in his home. Emily is an absolute sweetheart. We hardly ever have to recite our orders, she always remembers our choice drinks and food, impressive considering we’ve been here only five or so times. It’s a can’t miss in North Port. The food is a gluttons dream. The Gnocchi Bolognese is a home run and a steal at less then 12 bucks. The Red Mussels are divine, especially when paired with their glass of Chianti for $ 4.75. What?! Absolutely unheard of for a glass of wine in Southern Florida. Yep. I’ll get fat for this. Absolutely will.

I hated our pizza. And I was starving. I’ve never had cold, raw, cherry tomatoes on a pizza in my life. When I read the description I thought it was prosciutto arugula and cooked tomatoes. I went here because of the good reviews. Not sure how they steered us wrong.

We always get the zios special and the mozzerella caprese. It is so great to just call and pick it up in my way home from work. The mozzerella is the best I’ve ever had! Amazing! If you need it delivered they are fast and friendly.

IF I COULD ID GIVE THIS A ½ A STAR DOSENT DESERVE A WHOLE STAR AT ALL… This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a diner. The food was gross, way too expensive… and took a very long time to get to us. That wasn’t even the worst part. The waitress we had was the most rudest waitress I’ve ever had… She was very disrespectful and treated us like we were no body… I will not be going back again. I HIGHLY recommend not going there waste of time and money… All the five star reviews on here are employees I would believe. But could be wrong. Just know I’ve had the worst possible restaurant experience of all time.

I went to this place and ordered their Chicken Pasta. Their pasta was under cooked and their chicken was over cooked. The sauce had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The one good thing I guess is the owner was there that night and he was very friendly. Although, the customer service doesn’t overtake the bad food this place cooks up. I don’t recommend this place to anyone! No wonder they are always empty when I drive by.

Love family establishments and this one was outstanding! We came in with a big table and the owner was very nice and talked to us while we were getting settled in. The owner’s son was the one who took our order and he was very friendly and helpful as we were indecisive with the menu. The service was quick and he was on his feet the whole time making sure he was refilling our drinks and kept us happy! For the appetizer we decided on the Italian chicken wings. It’s like a mix of sweet and salty, it has tons of flavor and very saucy. I really enjoyed it, I ate a lot of it too! No ranch/​blue cheese needed!!! The size of the wings were also big, it wasn’t those tiny wings that you can finish with one bite.
We ordered 2 large pizzas for our big family and we decided on the margherita and the zio’s special. The margherita was light and simple and the quality was fresh. Zio’s special had alot of different meats on there, which all were fresh. Even the sausage was huge! The sauce was flavorful and light on the pizza. The crust was my favorite, I usually don’t eat the crust but this time I had to! It was the perfect crunch.
Great family owned place with delicious food and big portions! Must come here if you live around the area. Sadly for me this will probably be the one and only time I come here since I’m not from Florida and we just passed by this place coming from Cape Coral. But if I ever ever do, I’d come back here!

The Zio’s Special pizza is always a good choice for me. Their delivery is fast and the food is always hot.

Ok it’s a Sunday night and yes it’s the start of football season, but man this is the 2^nd time the pizza has been not hot but not cold and very soggy and oily! The first time the pizza was here in 45 min but tonight my god
A hour and a half and I called 3 times asking where my pizza was? The 3^rd time they closed at 9 even after I called and they said he would be 5 min! The pizza delivery kid finally calls me and says he is at the wrong address! The pizza and the wings were cold! I will not recommend this too anyone!

I have eaten in this new restaurant, and ordered takeout meals. Either way the service is very quick. The pizza sauce is amazing! I usually order pizza with light sauce because I don’t like the flavor, but this sauce is excellent! The Chicken Caesar salad is delicious. The stromboli is HUGE, and I just ordered the small one! The garlic knots… just Yum! The heaping bowl of Fettuccine Alfredo served as two meals! The staff goes out of their way to make you feel like family.
If you want a piece of Brooklyn, stop by Zio’s. :)
