My stay was as expected. The property is old, but I just needed a place to sleep that was inexpensive. Becky checked me in, and she was very wonderful. We chatted for a few minutes after I was checked in. The room was okay. I was traveling with a dog and two cats so I needed a pet room. The room smelled like animal pee, but I had been driving all day and didn’t care to change rooms. The continental breakfast was nice. I made myself a waffle before heading out on the road again. I would recommend this to someone just needing a place to sleep. If I drive through North Platte again, I will certainly stay here!

Do yourself a favor avoid this motel even if you’re on a budget. Spend a few bucks more for the other motels in the neighborhood like the Motel 6, Super 8, and Oak Tree etc… This place is a craphole!!! We got a room with two beds and the sheets on one of them had not been cleaned. There were little black hairs all over the worn down sheets with a few mystery spots and spills as well. I gagged and wanted to get the heck out of this place. Thankfully the other bed had newer sheets so it sufficed and we decided to not demand a refund. Everything in the hotel was janky. They also lied about having HBO channels. Well. I guess they did have HBO but the HBO channel was in spanish. A few good things, free wi-fi which was fast enough to surf the web. The continental breakfast had some good items to pick through and I was satisfied after eating. In all, this motel should have cost half of what they charged us, which is why you should avoid this one and stick to the other«low end» motel/hotels around.

You’re on a 1500 mile roadtrip from Georgia to Wyoming with a giant Budget truck and a car loaded up with two Huskies and a cat. It’s day two of the drive, and you really just want to stop for the night. Oh, look… it’s a cluster of hotels/motels just off the interstate. Do yourself a favor, stay somewhere else. Admittedly, I booked online in advance. We were moving, and I mapped out the route and stops, including pet friendly hotels. While they did not charge us the pet fee(only $ 10), it was clear that the«pet room» we were put in isn’t cleaned very well or very often. The dogs spent hours sniffing out every single scent in the carpet, though we could smell most of them just fine with our inferior human noses. Of course, we weren’t thinking about the old school motel layout with giant windows and wide walkways when we crawled in to bed. However, one of the pups reminded us of that particular architectural feature as he judged every shady person to saunter past. He’s not usually a barker, which makes him a damn great dog on most days. But we aren’t at dingy motels in the middle of America most days, either. At least the staff were friendly, and it was a place to crash for a few hours before hitting the road again.

The place is a dump. Super old and outdated décor. Wreaked of cigarettes. Horrible shower. Dirty bathroom floor. Towels are thread bare and the size of a postage stamp. $ 45/night you get what you pay for. Bed is comfotable.

We stayed at this Knights Inn in Mid January 2012. The first night was 2 Queen size beds. The second night we had a pet, and they had pet rooms available $ 5 extra, but this room was not as good.
