Called when our usual One Thai restaurant was closed on Sunday and was shocked to find they did not have ANY dish with a peanut sauce or anything close to that flavor. Wtf?! That a pretty standard Thai condiment/flavor in our opinion.

I got a to-go order from this restaurant when my wife and I stopped at the nearby North Palm Beach Marina for a couple of nights. The food was excellent, the portions of curry were massive(we could easily have been satisfied splitting a single order) and the new owner was very friendly. We liked this place under the old owners when we ate their last October and we like it under the new owners as well! Do yourself a favor and give them a try if you’re in the neighborhood!

Great food but sub par service I give this place the benefit of the doubt with a passable 3 star ranking. Everyone who served us was very friendly and the food was delicious. But with the lack of common sense these waiters don’t have from only giving me and my family 1 measly menu and me asking for 3 more, to our waiter leaving too soon before asking my sister and nephew what they wanted to eat where I assertively told him to come back, to somewhat inconsistent beverage refills, if you are not assertive here in a professional manner here like me where I know how to get things done in general expect a loooooooong dining experience. Overall it was worth it for there banging food where my family was treated to a nice free dessert but if this kind of service keeps up expect less business with all due respect to this place…

The service was impeccable, and the food was prepared hot and fresh. Nick couldn’t drink his soda down past 1⁄3 and waiter was there to refresh that and water. If I lived here I would have a hard time staying away.

New management! Do not let the dated décor scare you. The food is really good and the service is top

Had heard really great things about this restaurant. Unfortunately the food was bland. Out of all the Thai restaurants in the area so far this is my least favorite.

My complaint is about the PATHETICSERVICE at this highly rated restaurant! We were a party of ten people and they could CLEARLYNOTCOPE with serving a large table. We waited 1.5hrs for our appetizers to arrive!!! My advice to you would be not to go there if your party is larger than six people!

It has it’s ups and downs — but with much better Thai right around the corner, no need to go out of your way. Very nice service.

I enjoyed my food very much. I took food back to my hotel. The restaurant was pretty basic and is attached to a hotel which made me weary… however I liked everything I ordered. A solid 4 stars! My only oddball thing is the smell inside was weird. It did not deter me from eating but it is a little different. I would probably take out again.

Really good food. We went for lunch. The wonton soup was amazing. The Pad Thai(I had a hot level of 4) was insanely good. I have seen allot of restaurants come and go in this location. I hope this one stays. Very much an asset to NPB. Very good service. Very clean restaurant. I can say I finally found a Thai place in Palm Beach County that I will go back to!

Delish. If you want good thai food just come here. Dont let the apperance building detur you from here. Started with complimentary edamame, chicken wings delish! Then came the pad see eww. Just as good.

Very good food. Excellent, attentive service. I had Pad See Ew with shrimp and Chinese broccoli last night(not listed on the menu, but they will make it for you) and asked for it at level 5 spiciness(that’s the top). Woah, was it spicy, but that’s the way I wanted it. Thai restaurants often hold back because many American pallets can’t take real heat, but Sabai Thai doesn’t. Not much ambiance so if you are looking for fancy or trendy, this is not your place. But if you want good Thai food — head on over! I recommend!

You will be surprised to find an authentic Thai restaurant located in what looks like an old Howard Johnson’s. When you walk in and look at the décor you will think that it looks outdated. Then you will quickly forget about this minor eyesore as the owner greets you with a warm smile and seat you comfortably. The place was rather full last night and we seemed to be surrounded by regulars which is always a good sign. I ordered a cup of green tea and they brought me a cup with a whole pot of delicious green tea that was made with real leaves not just a tea bag. Then they brought out a platter of complimentary steamed and slightly salted edamame. It was fun chatting and snacking on these while our order was being prepared. We had the Yen Ta Phở Talay. It is a rice noodle with shrimp, squid, vegetable, scallion and cilantro in sweet and sour bean curd soup. It was very good and believe me, the large is very large! The squid were beautifully cut and still tender, the noodles were yummy too. I wasn’t sure what the cabbage was doing in there but everything else was delicious. They bring out sauces that are sweet, sour and not just hot but fire hot. Next we had the red curry with shrimp. The sauce was creamy and perfectly medium spice as requested. There was plenty of curry sauce to cover the rice, shrimp and vegetables. My only let down was that there were no bamboo shoots and very little red pepper. I was rather shocked to see what appeared to be frozen carrot, broccoli and green beans in the dish. The curry sauce was so authentic and the shrimp were fresh, why ruin it with run of the mill vegetables? Anyway, we enjoyed our time and already decided to try the crispy pork with Chinese broccoli and Pad Thai next visit.

We had very tasty meal here. W had spring rolls and satay to start. The satays come with their own little BBQ, very neat and tasty too, For main courses we had ginger chicken and basil chicken. Both were very tasty. It isn’t a fancy place but we all enjoyed our meals and would definitely come back. The service was great and friendly too.

Easy to miss in an unassuming spot along a quieter stretch of US1, but let me tell you be sure not to miss Sabai. Just discovered it two weeks ago, and tonight is my fourth trip back. This is the best Thai food I have had in Florida. The Pad Thai is excellent, as is the Red Chicken Curry which I have had at spice 3 and 5, and loved both, though cannot share the 5 with table mates who are not hard core. Also shared the Basil stir fry with Chicken and found it very light and uniquely enjoyable, not the heavy over cooked sauce laden dish found so many places. Atmosphere is simplistic but don’t be fooled, it is very quaint, super clean and the service has been a solid A+ on each of my three dinners and one lunch. If you want great food, service and value, this is the place.

Authentic authentic authentic! Growing up eating thai/lao food, I’m pretty skeptical about eating thai food out at a restaurant. But they proved me wrong. EVERYTHING is delicious and can be native spicy to my likings :) The staff is super friendly and the wait time on food is prompt.

Fresh, cook to order Thai food. Located in the same building as the Camelot Inn, Sabai brings a taste of Thai food to West Palm. Menu has all of the popular Thai food, as well as some inventive dishes. Be prepared to wait slightly longer since all dishes are cooked to order. But it’s worth the wait. Try the shrimp toast appetizers, and you can’t go wrong with their Pad Thai.
