Went in looking for a reclining loveseat during Memorial Day weekend. Couldn’t beat the prices they offered. The lady who helped me was lovely and personable. We ended up picking one that was on clearance and she helped make sure it wasn’t damaged before we oked the sale. Delivery was $ 100 even though we live less than a mile from the location which sucked and they would not budge on the delivery fee. Got the loveseat delivered in 5 days. The delivery team was great. A big problem I had was the sale tag was on the loveseat for $ 150 less than what it was sold to us for. I called immediately and they without hesitation said it was their mistake and refunded the difference back to us.

I bought dining set and when I opened the box, it was not the same set I ordered.
Morever I tried to set up the furniture and the wood started breaking while screwing.
Bad place to shop.

Attempted to buy a living room set after the deal was set for delivery. The whimp of a salesman Kyle had someone else call me to tell me it would be a month before my couch could be delivered. After I called the store and asked to speak to the manager he was to call me back (after 3 hours) I called again never got the message! He stated I could get couch in 3 weeks or come in and reselect ! Avoid avoid avoid !
Can’t believe I am in this mess !!!

Ok. Update.
When our furniture actually got delivered is when things got interesting. They were missing HALF a bunk bed and still insisted on delivering it.

Buying a bedroom set at Value City was a little hard but worth it in the end…
While their sales and specials can be confusing for a first time buyer, I feel that with the right bargaining skills, you can get what you want for the right price.
For a headboard, rails, center support, two nightstands, dresser, and a mirror we made about $ 700…black with glass too…
I was happy that they bargained with us and made a deal but I still would give the staff a C because they told us after we purchased that we would probably like IKEA better… WTF? lol

I was going to purchase a reclining loveseat possibly with a middle console approx. a week ago.
The sales rep greeted me and walked me through the isles. I had done my homework before and had notes with certain model names and numbers in my hand. She did not seem to know about the numbers or names, nor did she have any information handy.
I sat in a few recliners, but couldn’t recline any of them, because the coffee tables were sitting in front and blocked the recliner. I ask the sales rep if she should could please move the tables, she declined.
She then told me that was I was looking for wasn’t available anyways. I showed her my notes, but she repeated that none of them would fit my needs and wished me a good day!
??? Couldn’t believe my ears. As bad as the economy is, it seems all manmade to me, because sales personel is not doing their job.
I found the loveseat I wanted around the corner at Kaplan’s furniture store!
