This isn’t a throwaway five-star«BESTBUSINESSEVER!!1» review. I was legitimately happy with my visit here, and it’s one of the better sporting goods stores. First off, I went in for rugby boots. My old pair pretty much ended up irreparable because of a manufacturer’s defect, so I was back in the market. I told the guy working the front counter this, and he seemed to understand. We talked about the fields I usually played on and the demands of my position, and he steered me towards some firm-ground soccer boots. He wasn’t trying to hock his most expensive pair, though; he showed me what was on the wall and then the massive clearance rack, which had a remarkable selection. Their prices were already lower than Dick’s, and the selection was solid. I settled on a pair of Pumas that were well below my price range with a great fit. Bottom line is that you’re getting solid selection from knowledgeable staff for low prices. I can’t think of a way to beat that.

Don’t bother with this place. I went here because my nephew’s soccer team gets their jerseys through here. For his birthday I wanted to get him some of the extras — specifically the Adidas soccer bag and the warm up jacket. I ordered these items in the middle of June(his birthday is July 28th) and was told the order would take 2 weeks. It’s now July 24th and I still don’t have the items. When I called I was told they waited to put my order in with the rest of the teams and I might have it by the end of this week. I was livid and explained that I TOLD them when I put the order in that it was a birthday gift and again — was told 2 weeks. They didn’t apologize, simply said they would see what they could do. At this point, I am 4 days away from my nephew’s birthday, haven’t heard from them and don’t have the gift I ordered a month and a half ago. I’ll state the obvious and say that there aren’t many exclusive soccer-only stores around here, and a place like this probably isn’t on many Unilocalers’ shopping lists. But if you need some kangaroo leather cleats, goalkeeping gloves, referee gear… you get the picture, Frontline is the place. You may or may not be able to find similar things online or in big box sports stores, but why would you? If you’re shopping for soccer stuff, Frontline’s selection is vastly better, their people are more knowledgeable, and their prices are pretty similar.
