This place is AWESOME, Beads from all over the world, reminds me of a New York Mom and Pop shop. Kat is the owner and Artist, she sells to many Local Salons that turn around and sell her jewelry for double– Triple her price. There is always Micheal’s, however she has «The Real Deal» not that artificial imitation stuff.
You must look around and hunt, vintage piecies from Germany. Swarski Stones. Sterling sliver Head and Eye pins. Massive selection of buttons. Saved my ass on many outfits back from the cleaners with MISSING buttons !!
Not to mention KAT has been in buisness for twentysomething years. She is a trip also ! I know she also does repairs on certain costume jewelry and I have sold her some of my Vintage Jewlery. (She is picky)
While Oceans of Notions was around, So was KATS, just a bit more hip and modern. Small store, packs in SOME many great tresures. She knows people who supply classes on different types of Jewlery making.
