IK School of Rhythmic Gymnastics

My 9 year old LOVES this place! Ready to work out for many hours. She used to attend several gymnastics schools here in Miami, but none of them was so good for her as IK gym. She took an intensive summer camp program and now she looks amazing. Special thanks to Irina and Natalia for doing great job.

The worst place ever: coaches change every approximately 6 month, the owner brings her friends from Ukraine or Russia to coach here while they are on their 6 month tourist visa. Kids can hardly get used to a coach and here comes a new one. On top of that those people (so called «coaches») have no working permits and you don’t know who you give your kids to and who is responsible for them during those classes. Are they even qualifies to teach? Besides coaching issue, this place is all about the money. They push everybody to take private classes with the owner, and if you don’t, she doesn’t pay any attention to your child during the regular classes. The owner will do anything possible and impossible to get you to sign in, she will promise you to make a champion of your child (almost Olympian) — i have to admit she is really good giving these fake promises. But then after a few classes if you don’t take privates or do her other favors, you child will be ignored. She also bad mouth her competitors and i personally don’t appreciate it. There should be a healthy competition in a sport, not a dirty way to bad mouth partners, competitors or even her former coaches. I am sorry it took me so long to realize see and realize all of that and i wasted more then half a year at this place. I should have run away long ago. Now, we are in a different place, a really professional school of gymnastics and we are very very happy. This IK cares only about money and never about kids. Don’t waste your time and money here, rather run away before you even started like many other moms did. They already had it happened twice that the whole team just left the place in one day — it should tell us something. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I feel this place was my best miami discovery!!! The coaches are amazing, my daughter has come further than I ever thought she would! She loves every day she gets to practice! The coaches know each girl and can tell you their strength and weaknesses, they truly pay attention to the girls, it’s not a factory school, this place is special! The results speak for them selves. If you have any question give it a few lessons and you will never go anywhere else! I have been to some of the other schools and left with a really upsetting experience. I would never bad mouth a school but I will say that our experience here as a school and with staff has been a world of difference from other schools!
