Although the food may be good; the chaos, disorganization and dismissive service far outweighs the quality. It you value your time and yourself enough to want to be treated with respect when you are spending your money in a business, this is NOT the place for you… keep driving. NEVERFAILS the chaos. There is no sense of a line, who is next, new orders vs pick-up and truth be told many customers are just as bad — especially the male customers — who do not even try to attempt to see if someone is there before them; they just step in front of you and start ordering — or yelling out their order. Oh yes, yelling out your order or yelling out asking for the status of your order is standard in this ZOO. Management does NOT give a damn. It amazes me they are still in business… and that’s what is sad. The owners/managers seem to rely on the laurels of their«good» food vs implementing the foundation of overall professional customer service. Truly this is so simple to fix — create signs — where does the line start and end for new orders vs. pick-up; there is one sign for pick-up but again, no one seems to follow it — not the workers or the customers; or how about a simple TICKETSYSTEM… would that be too damn hard to implement? Really?

Went to this restaurant last night with my family looking for a decent creole/Haitian cuisine and I should’ve known better. First off I was skeptical at the fact that the place was empty(although a few reviews stated that this place was crowded) and there was a sign that read ‘No Refund’ and ‘No Return.’ I purchased only Griot for $ 8 which was given to me in a styrofoam plate half full, fine. When I got home to eat it all I could was shake my head in disappointment. The meat tastes as if it was left out for days and most importantly it had no flavor! Not even salt, which I am sensitive too. I would never return to this place again which is now called ‘Chef Louisa’s.’ Please take my word and save your money! #disgusting

The food is awesome but the wait is ridiculous… They need to have more employees or a better way to serve the employees.

I went there for lunch today and tried the fried goat and chicken wings. Goat was spicy and delicious, multiple other people at my work tried it and everyone loved it. Very cheap prices. Try calling ahead as it was crowded at 2pm(I actually tried calling ahead but they were too busy to answer) I’ve also tried a Haitian cake from there that was absolutely phenomenal, not too sweet like many American cakes. I am definitely going back for more goat soon.

My husband and I stumbled across Cayard’s Bakery while waiting for our car to be serviced at the Good Year across the street, and now we always eat lunch here when getting our car serviced. It’s a hole-in-the wall type of place with some awesome fried chicken that I like to eat with their spicy slaw. They also apparently bring a grill outside sometimes to BBQ meat. I haven’t witnessed this but my husband has been there when they’ve done this and vouches for the grilled chicken and ribs.
