We used to like this place. To be fair the food is great. But were treated extremely rudely by the manager. He insulted us because we complained about other guests screams. Instead of apologizing we were verbally assaulted. Never coming back.

Sorry to say, but I am very disappointed. I hate to write negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant made me raise my eyebrows to say the least. First I want to say that Bahor’s interior is beautiful! Really! Feels very authentic, fresh and well thought through. Thumbs up to the decorator! Great job! We sat on the patio even though the inside was really inviting, but it was a gorgeous evening, so the choice was made towards the outside. They had anti-mosquito candles all over, which I appreciated despite the distinct smell of citronella. Then the waiter came to take our drink order. He was nice and professional. We ordered a dry vodka martini and a cosmo. I felt horrible, but we had to send the drinks back twice(!) until we gave up, and asked the«bartender» to just simply shake vodka with ice and serve it in the martini glass. He needs to attend some bartending courses ASAP! I don’t consider myself to be extra picky, but those cocktails were truly undrinkable! Then the food. We ordered achick-chuck(spicy tomato salad), chebureki(meat fried dumplings), Cornish hen tabaka(like chicken under a brick). The salad was not spicy. It supposed to have red pepper in it, but instead they put a slice of jalapeño next to the tomatoes. Tomatoes and onions tasted fresh, but lacked the essence of the dish. Dumplings were good! Not spectacular, but very good. Chicken was also ok. Cooked all the way through, but again, missing the spices and garlic, which tell apart a pan fried chicken from the Georgian version of this dish. When we left, my friend asked of my opinion of the food. I thought about it for a while, and realized that the food lacked passion. Nothing was bad, just not memorable. Guys at Bahor, if you read the reviews, please, do something with the kitchen! You have all that it takes to run a beautiful and successful restaurant. I want to come again! But only after something is changed. Send the bartender to take courses, and put some love into your food. You will do great! Keep me posted ;-)))

We just ordered using EAT24 chicken kebab where they clearly describe as «filet“which means«chicken breast».We specifically asked chicken breast only. It came with thighs. My wife is allergic to tomatoes and we specifically ordered without tomato. The chicken came with tomato. I ordered lamb kebabs without salt: they came unbearably salty. Portions are extremely tiny. If I could give negative stars to this place, I would. Stay away. Owners don’t pay attention to the order and they simply don’t care they deliver it wrong. Never again.

We did a thorough exploration of the menu and we were wowed by it! This place is great. There wasn’t a dish in 13 that wasn’t great. The service also was amazing.

Very authentic Uzbek cuisine. We had Vika and Natasha as waitresses — very friendly and helpful. To go spot for Russsian Uzbek cuisine. Child friendly. Nice selection of kebabs /shashliks. Very tender — probably better than Hollywood Grill. Oliver salad is amazing as some specific Uzbek dishes.

This place is definitely understaffed. Our waiter missed half of our order, had to grab a random person to ask for water refill. Some dishes were over cooked, some did not worth the money they charge. The wait was too long over all. Will NOT come back for sure!!!

So much fun! 4.5 stars. OK, I do not know anything about Uzbek food.(If you are an expert and you read this plz message me, seriously.) The food is reviewed according to taste, cohesiveness, and pricing. Pickle plate: OMG fresh! Maybe it came from the fridge case at World Market, but it was still yummy. The cabbage, tomatoes, and cucumbers were crisp and tangy from lactic acid fermentation. Roast Eggplant & pepper salad. This was my favorite dish of the night. Slightly warm, lots of oil, savory-sweet, smokey. I buy it in a jar from World Market, but this fresh version was far, far better! Borscht: While my dad likes a richer beef borscht, I lean more towards a beet-centric soup. Bahor serves the latter with sour cream and fresh toasted bread. Home-made noodles with lamb. East meets West: My Cantonese dad said it tastes a little like a northern Chinese noodle dish; yet the toothsome, egg-y wheat noodles are as familiar-tasting as something my eastern-European mom would make. Spicy, savory, a tad sweet and sour. I was really pleased with this dish. Baby lamb chops with potatoes and mushrooms: While I only tried the potatoes & mushrooms, they were cooked perfectly(soft interior, crispy outside). Mom said the lamb chops were terrific. Don’t remember the name of the bread, but a loaf of cheese-stuffed, oven-puffed bread was a spectacle, with it’s bubbly char spots and ooze-y, dripping fat. Yes, it was good. The table shared a pot of orange spice tea. It was yummy and tasted like Constant Comment with a sparkle of fresh tangerine, but it was 9 bucks(gaggg!) Sat on the intra-coastal waterway. The décor resembles a mash-up of central Asian and Martha Stewart in calming aquas, teals, and warm blond woods. So much thought has gone into the design, and it’s welcoming and whimsical. According to the manager, the cooks hail from Uzbekistan. The staff was SONICE though our water dipped out to smoke a hookah while we tried to pay. That’s ok, I don’t blame him since he was probably sick of my parents asking questions about the extensive menu. I imagine that someone who grew up with this cuisine might label it Americanized or formalized. I feel the same way when I go to an upscale Americanized Chinese restaurant and fume over its apparent bastardization and absurd prices for what would have been a soulful, dignified peasant dish(but I still have to concede that a place like Tropical Chinese is tasty as it is inauthentic). So take this place for what it is: a fairly reasonable restaurant, attractively decorated, staffed with decent folks, and serving tasty food… with outside dining along the waterfront.

Jalkoe podobie uzbekskoy kuhni! Né vkusno! Ni shashlik, Ni manti, ni samsa be ponravilis! Otkrili restoran, nazvali uzbekskim, a edu uzbekskuyu prigotovit né mogut… Te kto is Uzbekistana, menya poymut! Bila tam odin raz, bolshe be poydu!!! Doesn’t taste like uzbek food! People from Uzbekistan will understand that! Will never come back!

After a stressful day me and hubby were Darling enough to have dinner at a new restaurant called Bahor. … And it was a winner, great attentive service. Loved the kababs, had chicken and lamb. Cooked to perfection. My hubby loved the freshness of the naked breads and I enjoyed the sautéed liver dish. Last time my late dad had cooked me liver that was as tasty. I’m not a dessert person but they do have baklava. One of the little desserts I do enjoy but wasn’t the best. It was a little hard to eat cause of the big chucks of walnuts but tasty. Server offered orange tea which I loved cause I’m a die heart for tea. Overall happy customer. Thank you and I will be back!

Stumbled upon this cute little restaurant. They have great ambience through lighting, music and decorations. Very friendly staff. The kabobs were great especially the lamb and chicken, very flavorful and tender. The fried beef dumplings were delicious. Will definitely come back to taste the rest of the menu.

The food is delicious. We ordered the Lula kebab, lagman and salads. Some restaurants have their lamb kebabs dry but Bahor has just right way to prepare it, juicy. The drinks are fine too. Very attentive staff.

One of the best Russian restaurants in East Coast! Great layout and service. Best Samsa and Pilov! Generous portions at very reasonable prices. Goes perfect with the homemade horseradish vodka. A Miami gem.

Restaurant is well decorated, clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food can be a hit or miss. We ordered 5 dishes and liked only 3 of them. Prices are reasonable except for daily specials– those are way overpriced. But service from our server Mihail was outstanding. Professional, friendly, polite and proper, he is a great asset to this place. Restaurant hostess who sits guests down should definitely learn basics of customer service and hospitality from him. Overall it was a good experience.

I’m honestly quite surprised by the negative reviews of this restaurant — it actually prompted me to set some records straight. I just came here tonight as per my friend’s sister’s raving suggestion(yes, she insisted we try this restaurant and she’s a cook). So, 8pm rolls around and I meet my friend, his brother, and his girlfriend for dinner here. I was immediately greeted by a very cordial hostess(in good English), found the group, and sat down on their really comfy booth couches. I took a look at the menu, a decent variety though I’m slightly spoiled by the greater variety of the uzbek restaurant on Bustleton Avenue in Philadelphia. There were non-meat and a couple of fish items though so I would set. My friend decided to lead the order(in Russian to the waitress, but she spoke good in English as well — was my friend’s choice to speak Russian). I ordered the Achuk-chuk, eggplant rolls, and salmon kabob. The tomatoes were delicious, probably the best ache-chuk I’ve ever had in a restaurant because most restaurants usually cover up their less-than-ideel salad with salt and caviar. Bahor’s items were all very fresh, not salty, and delicious to say the least. The kabob’s were served warm and tender. When we were done, the check immediate came. All-in-all, we managed to get out of the restaurant in less than an hour(I was watching because I have a lot of work to do). No problems here. Overall, I found this place to be an amazing, authentic niche restaurant located super close to home. We’ve already coordinated a group of family to meet here this Saturday evening. Word to the wise: this is NOT a «trendy fusion cuisine» restaurant that’s cliché Miami. This more of an authentic Russian/Uzbek neighborhood restaurant. I took off one star for the following reason: 1. I was a bit surprised that I only received 1 kabob skewer. Understand the price point is already fairly low, and rent in Miami is outrageous to say the least, but this is a case where I’d probably pay a bit more knowing I’m getting at least 2 «large» skewers — it’s a main course type of item so psychologically it’s underwhelming to see the climax of my dinner be one small skewer with a couple of sliced lemons and a small cup of sauce. You may want to think about this one.
