This place is good for the dip and fruit punch. Their margaritas are ok just need a little extra tequilla but their flavor is good. I tried the mango and puncharita margarita the flavors were very good.

This pains me to write this about one of my favorite places. My husband and I adore the cheese dip and fruit punch. NOTTHISTRIP! This was the worse cheese dip I’ve ever eaten and the fruit punch was just as bland. I have been a fan for years, but this cheese dip now taste like raw flour. No flavor… just bland. It looks like are not putting any cumin seeds in the dip anymore which gave it great smoky flavor. The chips were TOTALLY inedible! They were so greasy that they were chewy. Yuk! The only reason it got 2 stars from me was because my grilled burrito was pretty decent. Sad to say… I’ve had better at Taco Bell. :(

I am not a fan of Tex Mex but the food here is always good. I usually come and get a large cheese dip with chips and a large punch. My grandmother used to bring me for this when I was a kid and it’s still just as good as it ever was. I hope they stay around forever so I can always go enjoy some when I am in town.

TL;DR review: avoid at all costs if you want tacos. Ordered a taco meal special, which is two tacos, chips, salsa, and cheese dip. It took me about thirty minutes to get through the line, even though I was able to drive straight up to the speaker. Seemed like it took them about eight minutes for each car in line. The salsa and cheese dip were good, but there weren’t enough chips, and by the time I got home(it’s a two minute drive from here), my tacos weren’t crispy at all anymore. When I picked up the first one, it sagged, the«shell» fell apart, and meat fell between my fingers onto the wrapper. It was really disappointing. Wouldn’t eat at this MC again. Maybe I’ll try again in a year or so.

Food is delicious but every SINGLE time I go here I am in the line for at least 20 minutes. Slow slow slow but delicious and worth the wait. Just don’t go here if you’re in a hurry or during lunch hour. You’ll spend 30 minutes of your lunch in line.

I don’t know what the deal is with Mexico Chiquito… according to Wikipedia, Google and cheese dip historians, this place invented Cheese Dip in 1935… But here’s the thing about the Cheese Dip… after having some myself… then bringing some home to Texas, reheating it and sharing it with other foodie people… we determined it to be Velveeta and generic Taco Seasoning… I sure would have loved to have tried whatever the original cheese dip was… because it’s obviously morphed into that. Oh and how can we tell it’s Velveeta? It stays soft enough to dip after being refrigerated… not good. The venue was blah and I went specifically for the dip, which was a let down. The plus side to this place were the staff, who were super nice and cool. But if you’re going for the original cheese dip… it ain’t so original…
