If I could give them zero stars I would! They catered an event at my son’s school. He has life threatening allergies to all nuts, so I called them in advance — they were not very helpful, did not really answer my questions or give me much information. So I went to the event and they again were dismissive and not very nice. I expressed surprise that they had brought brownies with walnuts to serve when there were kids with nut allergies there, and they were going to be dancing and hi fiving and touching each other and the tables! they were VERY rude and said, «well the other kids can eat them — why would you want to take it away from them just because your kid can’t have it!» No compassion, no customer service AND definitely NO training around food allergies whatsoever — and that should be mandatory for ANY food companies, especially those serving children IN the school! Not only would I NEVER use them for any event — I will recommend that the school not use them again either. Bringing the brownies is one thing, being so rude to me when I was just trying to figure out whether the food was safe or not — was definitely another thing. VERYVERYRUDE and NOTWELLTRAINED staff. Made for a VERY stressful afternoon for me wondering whether my son was going to leave there in a ambulance!

OK, been to 2 of their productions so far and all I can say is YUMMMMMMMY! Their food was spot on traditional and very fresh. The dessert spread they put on rivals those I’ve been to in Vegas(and that’s saying A LOT)! 100% sure that I’ll be using them in my near future. Great job OFC!

Although I am extremely exhausted on this Monday morning, after 4 straight days of partying for my son’s Bar Mitzvah, I just could not wait to write this review! In fact, I wanted to write it last week, BEFORE my event even took place. Planning an event can be stressful. I have planned a few. This one by far, was the easiest. One reason for this is the professional people whom I chose to work with. The owner of OFC is Barbara. I called her with a concept that I had for a Kiddush service(for those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, it’s a traditional meal that follows Saturday morning services at a synagogue). Basically, you are expected to spend down to your last dime to feed a whole bunch of guests, who will likely complain later that there was not enough food, or that it was not good! I can now tell you that my Kiddush service ROCKED! My concept was that I would go light on the traditional bagels and spreads, and bring down the house with a spectacular array of desserts. We called it Danny’s Sugar Fantasy, after my son, the ultimate sweet tooth. During the few weeks of planning with Barbara, she came up with so many great ideas. She always listened to what I had in mind, and found a way not only to make it happen, but to exceed my expectations. In the past, I have worked with caterers with good service and so-so food, or vice versa, but this time, I got both great service and wonderful food! The dessert table was to die for! Chocolate moose displayed in martini glasses, a gorgeous fruit bowl made of ice, with my son’s name in it, beautiful tiers of cakes, fruit, chocolate fondue! And something that I had no idea would be there… HUGE strawberries, decorated like tuxedos, with dark and white chocolate. Everything tasted as good as it looked! My guests have been calling with compliment after compliment. Your caterer and their willingness to work with you can either stress you out, or calm you down and make you feel completely at ease. Thank you, Barbara for making this such a pleasant experience for me, for making all my wishes come true, and for loving your job enough to exceed all of my expectations.
