The pool man never completed the job he started with us. He would spend no more than a few minutes then leave. I would recommend you NEVER use this service. We are out 100.00 and we still have not had our pool done.

I beg to differ with the last review, Pristine Pool Service has treated me excellent. I needed a new motor and Steve got me an unbelievable price, great attitude with this guy. I was going to give him only 4 stars because he was a little late but as he explained that he is in a business where being punctual is almost impossible unless it’s a big company or jobs are getting done half assed.

It appears the owner didn’t like my review too much, including a profane response. Hence the one star. And LOL at his response. Maybe I’ll post pictures of his«professional» text messages where he is profane, makes threats, and can’t do basic math. I debated on how many stars to give and what exactly to put in this review as to avoid it sounding like sour grapes. Pristine was referred by a local pool supply company and was highly regarded by them. This company probably could do good work, but customer service lacks. I almost gave them a benign 3 stars, but after writing this, I dropped it to 2 stars. On the initial clean, there were a couple of issues, the first of which was their actually showing up. They were supposed to be there Wednesday, then Thursday, then they finally showed up Friday. The next day the kid was having a pool party, and let me tell you, that caused a bit of undue stress. Second, the pool filter needed to be cleaned. I found this to be a little suspect as I cleaned them a few weeks before. I suppose it was plausible, so I let them clean them. I am quoted a price for this service. Then I am informed the filter housing kid needs to be replaced because there are holes in it and it’s going to explode. A little later in the conversation I’m told the air bubbles in the water from the return are because of the holes in the filter housing. Well, for something to explode? That implies pressure that exceeds the capacity of the vessel, which if there are holes, there will be leaks. For air bubbles to occur, that implies a vacuum somewhere. So, this alone is contradictory information. I am sent pictures and apparently they sprayed some stuff on the filter housing. In fact, there is nothing wrong with the filter lid and they were fish eyes in the paint on the filter cover, not holes or cracks or any other fractures. I receive another text message that they have spent too much time at the property and can’t figure out how to get the filter housing cover back on and that they were going to leave it. I was also informed that because they underestimated the job, it was going to cost me more. While I would normally have taken them to task for this, I let it slide. The pool was mostly clean, but not completely and it was cloudy. Apparently they put roughly a gallon of clarifier in there, but I cannot verify this. If this is the case, and if you have read the directions on most bottles of clarifier, you know this is too much. It took almost a week for the pool to clear up. I expected better from a professional that purports to have a lot of experience. The next week, I was out of town for the Fourth of July weekend. I get home on Monday and it does not look like the pool had been cleaned. Well, it hadn’t. I only found out after I texted and asked. I was told they got stuck in Henderson and didn’t make it. So, a no call no show to add to the list. So we get to today, when they finally decide to show up. We hadn’t discussed payment timing; they were under the impression they would be paid a month in advance and I planned on paying monthly after the services had been complete. This is my policy as I’ve been burned before. Remember last week when they didn’t show and probably wouldn’t have said anything if I didn’t mention it? So after some back and forth texting about it, they are too small to bill in arrears like most others and given the recent history of inconsistency, and an apparent true lack of knowledge and experience. I was willing to pay in arrears every two weeks, but this did not work for them. I’ve overpaid to what was agreed and have now been left high and dry. So, I wish them the best of luck and the suggestion they work to improve their customer service skills.
