Went in a bit ago with my mom and fell in love with an item. I approached the sales lady to barter the price and she flat out said no the price is the price. Call me crazy but I thought consigning and bartering kinda go hand in hand? Guess not here… Guess they’re not interested in moving inventory that badly. Which was shocking because the front by the register was clustered with crap. These places are generally not super organized but the mountain of things was a little out of control.

GREAT little place on Post Road that has some very cool treasures, especially if you are looking for some projects to bring some ‘shabby chic’ to your home or even find a great piece of furniture at a fraction of the cost you would find anywhere else. Shipments come in for the most part Tuesdays, Wed and Thursdays but it’s a constant whirlwind of new items each week. I bought a cute Tiffany bedside lamp for $ 20 … a steal from other places I’ve scoped out

What a cute place and way easy to find since it’s the bright pink building on Post Rd(makes a good landmark for directions too!). Pricing system similar to others with decreasing by 10% every 30 days for the first 90 days and I’m not sure if anything happens beyond that, although I did find a small clearance section. Everything from vintage toys to jewelry to beautiful furniture. You could really decorate your whole house with this place! Prices are about the same as eBay as that’s how everyone seems to price items nowadays. Only thing is I absolutely loathe being the only person in the store, not being greeted and having to be the first to say«Hi, How are you!». Not a huge deal but when you’re the only person in there and looking at jewelry at the counter, that or «would you like to see anything» makes me feel much more welcome. Other people would rather not be bothered at all, so can’t make everyone happy! Also, I believe they have classes/get togethers to paint furniture and stuff for all you creative people!!!

I love visiting this store. There’s always something new to see. The staff does a great job with the display and organization of the store. You can find quality home goods, furnishings, antiques and much more at this family owned business. It’s a great place for shopping for yourself or if you are looking for a unique gift for someone else. Beautifully painted pink! You can’t miss it! I highly recommend you stop in often to browse. There is always something new.

Pink Chair has taken over the building formerly occupied by Consignment Goods and they seem to be doing very well in the space. The building, of course, has been partially painted painted pink, so it’s rather hard to miss. I’m not sure what that building did to deserve the paint colors its received from its owners but it does stand out! This is the type of consignment store I love, lots of nooks and crannies filled with hidden treasures. Take your time and poke around. When I visited, Pink Chair had a nice selection of home furnishing and decorative items. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a good variety and the pricing seemed reasonable(some of these consignment stores need a class in reality — the prices are highly ambitious!). I did notice a couple of people coming in with lots of product to consign so that’s a good sign there. Bought a few items and I’ll be back for hunt around for more goodies soon.
