The Neighborhood Laundry

I started coming here when my apartment building raised the price of laundry. I couldn’t stomach paying $ 3.50 for a single wash & dry. It’s in an area that has a small parking lot but it hasn’t been a problem for me yet. The washers don’t give my clothes a weird smell like other laundromats I’ve been too. Maybe it’s cause it’s newer or maybe they just take better care of the washers. It’s reasonable priced too. $ 1.50 wash in the regular size (they have bigger ones) and .25 cents for every 11 minutes on the dryer (I think). The wifi wasn’t working for me the first time I went but since then I have seen other people on laptops so it may work now but I haven’t checked. One day when it was hot outside it got kind of hot and stuffy inside too so I’m not sure they have air conditioning. I survived and have come back many times since. s

I went in, the place is slightly dilapidated. Asked 4 people if they’d seen any attendants. One woman said she’d been there for 3 hours and seen nobody. Really disappointing.

They upgraded some of the washing machines they used to have, got rid of the arcade machines, and now have free WiFi. Its very well attended, and they have a very friendly attendant. I even got laundry power tips while I was here.

I just started working in Studio City and I stumbled upon this laundromat, and I must say this place isn’t bad. I’ve dropped off my laundry a couple of times and both times it has come back looking great.

I really want to like this business, but they have some work to do. This review is only for the fluff and fold service.
I’ve brought three loads of laundry here now, and every single time they’ve charged me more than they said they would. Usually just $ 1 or .50 cents. This last time was the final straw. The owner was a super nice guy to my friend I’d brought along who only had 9 pounds (their minimum is 15), but he said he’d cut him a deal this time since he was a new customer. We came to pick it up and lo and behold, suddenly it weighs 12 pounds. Our bad for not making sure to grab the carbon copy receipt, but cmon, really? At least be up front. If you want to add a service charge for being under the minimum, don’t wait until I pick it up to tell me! Maybe the lady who works there is skimming off the top, maybe the business owner is actually a bit of a jerk. Who knows.
Also, a cash business needs to have change. I shouldn’t have to go next door to bring you exact change. That’s basic business 101.

Ok… Having to give up my washer and dryer sucked big time. Took me a minute but I decided on this laundromat and I’m glad I did. The attendant is always friendly and I’ve never had to wait on a machine. The machines are clean and I can choose the sizes. It’s great especially when washing comforters and sheets. I love this place and this is my third time coming here and I can’t complain. If you are hungry there are 3 little food spots in the same plaza. They have new dryers and it takes 25 for 11mns. Not bad considering that the dryers are new so they dry fast. Oh and they have wifi here. Coin machine as well. Yes the bathroom costs a quarter but that is to keep out the homeless and to keep it clean so I don’t mind at all. All in all I’m a happy girl. I come at night so it’s not as busy.

There is an attendant there most of the time cleaning the area and the machines regularly. They also seems to keep the machines in good working order. Free wifi is great. Parking hasn’t been an issue and it never seems too busy on the one Sunday late morning I used them.

The place is very clean. Mary the lady that attends the place at night is very helpful and nice. They have a lot of machines and dryers. I totally recommend this place for the people in the area.

After my car accident and being car-​less I wanted to use a closer laundromat. I love Mary and the owner-​they are so sweet and caring. I left my laundry in the dryer by mistake and they folded it and kept it safe for me the next day-​all of my favorite items were saved because they care. So glad I found this place it makes doing laundry not at home, not so bad:) thank you for the best service!

Been here many times when the laundry facilities at our building fail. It’s the least creepy laundry mat I’ve been to. Because let’s face it, they are all creepy.
Very clean and the units work great! Reasonably priced at $ 1.50 for a wash and $ 0.50 for a dry. The dryers work especially well and my towels are done in 20 mins. They have a quarter machine there.

I’ve been doing laundry here on and off for years. The place has always been well taken care of and the staff is great. Since the new owner has taken over he’s improved the place even more! Machines are efficient, dryers are amazing.

They have put new machines eco friendly.
Parking is okay, they have to share the space with a donut shop, dry cleaners shop and probably a Pizza hut spot. It’s U shaped parking lot, so be careful, it’s not very spacious parking lot.
I have bumped into the older guy who is in charge of cleaning the place, I was really amazed how nice he is and how clean he is! I was confused using these machines first time then he came by and checked on me and helped me out, his english was not very good but he understood easily of what my problem was.
There is a restroom for 25cents too. There is a sink (no soap tho) with paper towel.
There is also exchange machine.
What I like from this spot, they have sooo many laundry machines, the regular one, the front load one, the commercial one, the heavy /​overloaded one. The dryers are also 25 cents for 11 minutes (it also depends on which mode you select such low heat, med heat, so on.)
They also have carts available about 6 carts I notice. It was great. They also have tables for folding your laundry like about 7 – 8 tables. There is a TV too.

The guy attendant is pretty helpful if u are a lady. But if you’re a guy do not even ask him for anything specially if he’s watching tv.

I have always washed my clothes here for convenience, but since the new owners have taken over, it is actually really nice. They put brand new machines in and the people who work there are very helpful. I didn’t think going to the laundromat could actually be relaxing, but now that it’s super clean and new, I look forward to getting it done.

The new owners have put in new machines! The place is cleaner now, too, and seems to be better stocked than before. I’m also noticing fewer broken machines when I go there. The attendants are solid, and when I was there last week the owner even gave me advice to use a different (cheaper!) machine and I saved a few quarters. He even told me that using less soap will make my clothes last longer. Good vibes here.
