This is the best taco place I have been here to before. Although you have to wait for your order and tables, it’s still good. A lot of Mexican styled food.

Great spot. Nice choices of meat. I had Birria… A type is shredded beef for the first time. They took a little long to make the tacos though

I love this place the guacamole salsa is so amazing. Also the carnita tacos as so tasty. I recommend this place to anyone.

Tacos are good and it’s only $ 1 each. If you buy four tacos you get a free can of soda of your choice. Really good deal, but I wish the tacos were bigger but you can’t complain. I suggest get more then four tacos if you’re really hungry.

Best tacos I’ve had in a long time and they are only $ 1 (tripas, pollo y buche) my boyfriend loves the burrito de lengua it is his favorite taco spot if he could he’d prolly munch on dinner every night at this spot! I tried the tostada with octopus and shrimp and it was pretty good as well overall good place to eat the staff here is friendly and quick

The tacos are very good and they are only a dollar. The meat quality is also good. The workers are friendly. I would recommend the tacos de asada de tripa and the tacos dorados de papa. Overall great place for authentic tacos

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this spot! If you are looking for some cheap, delicious late night grub, Sandy’s is definitely the way to go. Good vibes all around. Very clean location and very friendly staff. I always have their sopes or shrimp cocktail so yummy! My boyfriend loves their tortas with habanero sauce, the staff automatically knows his order when he walks in. I definitely recommend to everyone!

It’s Taco Tuesday EVERYDAY here!!! Seriously you can’t beat $ 1 tacos and these taste amazing and will melt in your mouth. The sauces are made in house fresh daily and the staff is awesome. They only accept cash so keep that in mind before you go, but the food is great, and I had menudo for the first time there and it was simply amazing. I’m glad this place is walking distance from my apartment, so when I get that urge for some tacos, I make my way to Sandy’s. You should too.

I’m on a mission to explore new eateries in NoHo near work so I found this whole in the wall mexican joint via Unilocal.You order at the register and wait to pick up your order.
The menu is pretty basic with ceviche tostadas, tacos, burritos, and other items I couldn’t read in spanish.
I had the asada tacos which are $ 1 each and the tostada mixta which are $ 4.50 each. Huge tostada that was made with long strips of imitation crab, shrimp, octopus, tomatoes, onions, and topped with avocado and cucumbers. It was fresh and tasty with squeezed lime, but I wish the imitation crab was more shredded so that it was easier to eat. As for the tacos, I thought they were a tad dry.
There are a few tables if you want to dine in. Call ahead if don’t want to wait because I definitely spent half of my lunch break here waiting for my order.
There are so many mexican eateries in NoHo, but this was an A-​OK place if you don’t want to wait for a table at Salsa and Beer.
Parking in the back in the same lot as 7-​Eleven. Service is in Spanish but you can get by if you know the basics.

I have to write an update. I was at Sandy’s for lunch today and the food was excellent. I had their carne asada burrito with everything. Meat was tender, not too much beans and rice. Their verde sauce is perfect. They even gave us grilled jalapenos and onions. You can see the kitchen in the back and it gives you comfort as you can see the cleanliness. My burrito was $ 4 plus tax. I will definitely visit often.

I’m going here for a while now it’s quick, it’s easy. it’s clean, it’s delicious and great service. The pastor is awesome and I would recommend everyone go there. My regular order consists of un burrito de pastor y un taco de asada. If you’re in the area stop by or call it in for a swift pick up. I just made my order!

Very quick service!
All the workers speak Spanish and I only speak English but they can still kinda understand what I want. Never got my order wrong and the carne asada quesadilla is da bomb!

Sandy’s Tacos on a Friday night, the food is always just right and today they have homemade horchata! the tostada Mixta is delicious shredded crab, shrimp, octopus, Pico de gallo, fresh avocado topped with there unique Chipotle sauce!!!

I really enjoy eating at Sandy’s. The restaurant has great Mexican food. My favorite includes «Tortas De Asada, «i.e. Mexican style baguette with meat, beans, avocado, tomato, and cheese. Amazing with an ice cold Jarritos.
Customer service is accommodating and prompt. They speak limited English, but make an effort to give you a good dining experience. Extremely casual location.

I came here while I waited to get my car fixed!
IThe downside was that there was no HORCHATA what the hell!!! I tried their Pineapple juice and wasnt a fan at all so I got a soda. I ordered 4 tacos de asada and one de alpastor. I think out of the two meats I definitely liked Alpastor.
The tacos here are a dollar so you can’t gbo wrong with that.

To leave one star review I need to be awfully disappointed and that’s exactly what I got from this place. Rude customer service and saggy tacos! Asked for beef tacos with cheese and everything and got a chicken taco so watery I could have eaten with a spoon. Big NO!

Pretty good ceviche, havent had anything but the ceviche or the fried potato tacos, which were good as well.
Not the greatest location or fast service but pretty inexpensive.
