This place is like salvation. Everything is top quality, and it’s the only place I have found that has uncut, unsweetened matcha. The barista with the short reddish hair had the best attitude, full of smiles and laughter and one of the kindest baristas I’ve literally ever had. The art is incredible and I love the comfy atmosphere, I will definitely be coming back! I go to coffeeshops all over the world and this is a hidden gem.

So glad I found Moby’s while I was in LA. Their tea selection is out of this world. So many books to browse, board games, great vibe. Thank you!

Love! This has become my go to when I’m craving coffee. I find myself always wanting their Shiny Squirrel over any of my preferred Starbucks drinks(and let me tell you, I was a Starbucks fanatic). It’s so hard straying away from the Shiny Squirrel and I can never resist a blueberry pot pie! So so delicious! I come here almost regularly and the owners are super nice and energetic. When I do visit with my pup, they are so welcoming and excited to see him. Overall, this place is a gem to get your coffee/tea fix!

This is the best coffee shop of life. I’m not even kidding. Everything there is tasty, unique, and top quality. All of the staff is so friendly and fun — you feel like maybe, just maybe this is your Central Perk. I’m always in a rush when I pop in(and they’re super fast — so it works out amazingly) but I wish I could spend more time in there because its such a cozy, relaxing spot. Just amazing on all fronts. On my first visit I had MAJOR regret that I hadn’t found this place sooner. Love you, Moby’s!

It was a little hard to find this place coming in from the Valley, but it was a really great place. The staff is super friendly and offers advice on what might be something good. They have many tables and outlets if you need to work, but they also have books and an ongoing puzzle if you just want to sip and chill. I’ll definitely come back to Mobys.

I’m here every day. The teas are great(my current favorite is the unsweetened iced black bear), the coffee is great(I like their regular black coffee or their icy«blended» coffee drinks), the pastries are great(I like the maple pecan scone or sage gruyère monkey bread), they’ve got strong free wifi(been coming here every weekday for the past two months and never had a problem – ask for the code), plenty of outlets, comfy seats, and an eclectic playlist of background music. There’s a restroom in the plaza – super easy to get the key. I am an ultra-introvert who is more cat than person, so believe me when I say the key is super easy. The bathrooms are super nice, too – the plaza does a great job. There’s usually parking, but if there’s none in the lot, just look around the block for easy street parking(check signs). Note that they close at 5pm most days, though.

Got the chai latte with almond milk. It was delicious! Let me tell you, I have tried a lot of chai lattes around LA and this is definitely one of my favorites. It’s has so many spices. Yummy! The place is super cute, nice atmosphere to work in, Lots of dope art work on the wall. Definitely stop by if you are in the area!

I LOVED this café! I tried both coffee and tea here, and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about their product. They also have a ton of books and some games if you want to come here with a friend and play.

I’m in love! I am not really a coffee or tea person but this place is great. The employees are very nice and can make you your own tea blend(I got mango/lemon). I also got their ‘crazy’ oatmeal which allows you to mix in nuts, berries, choco, coconut, etc. This is a great small place to meet up with a friend and has books, games, and puzzles. They even let me borrow a puzzle to do at home! I will definitely be back and not just to return the puzzle.

I’ve been coming here for the past few months and have decided this is MY local coffee shop. Delicious, locally roasted, and family owned. You can’t go wrong! To preface my above statement, I am a huge coffee snob to the point of unbearably so. Like… I admit, I have a caffeine addiction that’s strong, but I will not consume Starbucks unless desperate or have literally no other choice. My first visit here, I met Patrick, the owner, and he was so welcoming and inviting. Since then, they’ve always recognized me and make me feel welcomed and valuable. Whenever I’m not making coffee for home, I go here. Always. Check them out!

A very pleasant neighborhood spot in an assuming mini strip mall just east of Burbank Blvd. Friendly service, chatty customers, and a slew of seating, books, puzzles, games and a few tables outside on the sidewalk. They serve organic coffees and teas — a large variety of loose leaf teas — and some really good pastries from Cake Monkey — a local bakery(I love the pop tarts, and when they have samples in the morning!) The pourovers are good, and they use locally roasted beans from both Groundworks and Supreme Bean. They also specialize in a few very creative iced + sugar drinks that my friends love cracking out on, occasionally. They even have an occasional agreement with the yoga studio next door: sign up for classes, receive a free coffee after your morning Zen. PROTIP: Despite how often I go to Moby’s, I always seem to forget to get my coffee sleeve punched. But if YOU remember and save that sleeve and use it as a punch card, ten stamps gets you a free drink!

Pleasant little local place, hidden away in a questionable North Hollywood strip mall. However, the shop itself is anything but questionable — a warm, comfortable environment, massive assortment of very tasty loose leaf teas(can’t comment on the coffee as I never drink it), ample seating, books and games on the bookshelves, comfortable and spacious seating, fun and funky décor. For that area, parking is also decent too. When ordering my tea, the barista was very knowledgeable about their many different varieties and was kind enough to offer to create a new mix for me. One star docked for a few moments of awkwardness: One, a female employee got really up into a guy’s face for bringing in an outside drink, while he was actually on the phone in what sounded like a business-related situation. Not only that, she kept reiterating that fact and hovered over him while he was trying to talk on the other line and acknowledge that he’d throw it away. Additionally, she was very loud and in-your-face about it so everyone around heard and was aware. Just pretty tactless and not a great policy to have if you want to be customer-friendly. Secondly, the music in there is turned so low that you feel like almost everyone can hear your conversation(even though it’s a spacious place). My friend and I chose a seat farther away from the counter because of this. All and all, I’ll definitely be returning.

I don’t really like writing mediocre or bad reviews, especially for small coffee shops, but I had such high expectations coming here, that I was left severely disappointed. Reading all the Unilocal reviews, I was excited to try this place out. I’m a coffee addict and always up for trying a new place. It was on my way so thought it’d stop by. It was 100 degrees outside and what better way to cool off than by having a nice cup of iced coffee. I ordered a large and thought it was fairly cheap. I don’t know where they source their iced coffee from and maybe this shop is known for their teas and speciality coffee’s but the iced coffee, didn’t wow me. The area inside is pretty spacious, clean and a lot of cool artwork on the walls. Also the staff was super friendly. I’d probably stop by just to give their teas a try, but the iced coffee, i’d rather get from somewhere else.

Stopped in today with a friend. Met the owner, what an awesome guy! This is a cute, cozy, café. Everything is organic, and he takes pride in everything he sells. There are plenty of seating areas and a few tables outside. I didn’t try anything today, we were promoting our event to local business owners. But I am definitely coming back!
