Not good at all and a bit overpriced for the quality and taste of food… I’ll stick with Ramona’s(Gardena)

This place gets a hard descent. Portions are satisfying, everything is priced great, but the food itself is lacking in flavor. This is surprising to me, because Mexican food is known for being bright, colorful, and full of flavor. Truly, given the circumstance that the Latin food experience in LA is such a saturated market, it surprises me that a place like this is both still open and running. But hey, more power to you. I would not come here expecting to be wow-ed by the food, or the service. It does what it needs to do for an affordable cost without doing anymore.

Egg burritos for Sunday brunch had way too much refried beans, soggy, no option for potatoes instead of beans. Wasn’t wonderful.

This place has been here forever, and although we drive by endlessly we have never stopped. We were on our way to buy a new car and decided to grab a quick lunch. Restaurant was quiet, but service was fast. You get a lot of food when you order, and the vegetarian tostada was AWESOME! The only reason for the 3 stars: my son’s bean & cheese burrito was a lonely burrito on a plate with no garnish, and no chips, just a little boring. My husband ordered a carne asada burrito(amazing the amount of meat in it), however no rice and no beans means no rice and no beans and the first pass came loaded with both! Salsa bar needs more salsas… There was one, along with some pickled vegetables, but everything else was extra(onions, jalapeños, cilantro). We would up spending $ 30 on lunch with very little in terms of frills.

Good but could be better, interior cold but still the meat is decent quality and has flavor, no sour cream or ice berg crap forced on you, thank God ! for me it didn’t seem expensive at all for quality and serving size. If I’m hungry and in the area again I’d give it another try.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally stopped by tonight and left disappointed. Not in the quality of my food, but in what my food was. I ordered the chile relleno burrito. I received a carnitas pork burrito. I went to ask for the correct food. It was repeated to the chef what I asked for. He said it was supposed to have meat in it. I pointed out its green for vegetarian on the menu, but this fell on deaf ears. I returned to my seat and ate the food. It was good, but not even close to what I wanted, and I was disappointed they didn’t acknowledge their mistake. My husband ordered the taquitos and seemed to enjoy them, but they looked kinda dry to me. Ah well.

Only food thing about it is they are not too busy.(For me). Food is really not that great. Chilereano is very oily. Tastes like they cook in same oil for a week. Portions are fairy small. Convenient location. Thats about it.

Came here after a long bike ride starving and ordered poorly. By that, I mean I went for the enchilada/taco combo. The crunchy beef taco was meh for sure. The chicken enchilada was nothing special. Rice and beans were quite good. But normally, I don’t order like this and go for fresher dishes(salads, tostadas, soups, fajitas, etc.) My bad. The place is clean and the staff is very nice. It’s an utter and complete dive(not a dump, though, just zero ambiance). They have cold beer and my dinner wasn’t too pricey. If I were to go back, I’d order the chicken soup. I saw a bowl of it on someone’s table and it looked as good as the one La Cabanita in Glendale serves(I love that soup!). I was pushy enough to ask the patron if she liked it, to which she replied«Oh, yes, I order it every time I come here.» So there you have it, solid 3-stars.

This place is Just ok. Tried the Asada and was dry Overcooked and hard to cut with even a steak knife. Hard-shell taco was ok and the Chili Relleno was topped with Enchilada Sauce? Good Bean and rice but unless you are planning on having a rice and bean burrito, i would try another place in the area.

Delicious authentic Mexican food. Very friendly service and very clean. It’s a small place but trust me you won’t be disappointed. Being from Texas we have ate plenty of Mexican food but I loved the food here. I highly recommend this place.

Been here a few times now usually when I have my car wash done across the street and it’s always been a good experience for me. The Tortas are pretty good and also the enchiladas are good. It’s always kinda of empty but for me it’s good why would I wanna be at a crowded place not really. The menu it’s pretty big and prices are very good and food it’s done pretty fast. Overall good place to eat always clean.

This place is decent if your tongue is not used to junk like taco bell. The burrito I got was nice and wet and i loved it! It was expensive though. Similar restaurants charge only 4 bucks for a burrito. This place charges almost 7 bucks!

I’m not sure whats with the bad reviews for this place. It’s delicious, fresh, made to order Mexican food. Casual setting. We’ve eaten food from this restaurant at least 20 times and have brought numerous friends who end up going back themselves. I’ll assume the bad reviews are from people who’ve been eating overly processed junk for so long they can no longer taste anything. The food here is good! Try it for yourselves.

Simple affordable big dishes. They close early at night. I could only guess because they can’t compete against the cheaper processed food from the Denny’s across the street.

The chile relleno was old to the point that I almost throw up when I tested. The chicken breast with rice and beans was ok. It was my first time there and I am never going back.

We happened upon this unassuming place while driving down the street. I was on Foursquare looking for a place and saw this through the passenger window. My fiancée thought we might give it a shot. The place does feel small, but most places do to me.(I’m 6’6) I ordered the Carnitas plate, which will not shock anyone that knows me. I truly enjoyed it, my tortillas were hot, and my beans and rice were just right. I also managed to down two glasses of their Horchata. My fiancée ordered the Huevos con Chorizo which she thoroughly enjoyed. All in all, we were very happy that we decided to pull in. Thank you. I love little places like this. As a chef, finding jewels of good food are always a pleasure.
